In the second fight in Tokyo when there were judges it did not matter because Johnny ended it early.

I wish they'd get rid of it. It's too much to ask someone to referee AND judge. :(

what about the idea of the ref' choosing a winner if it's a draw on the cards. No one sees the fight better than the ref'.
Just a thought to avoid draws????

Would be a good fight, a good Test for Tua to see if he still has it (just to shake off the whole he got lucky)
Im sorry Meehan has been saying he wants to fight this person and that person and ends up fight NOBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is TUA really locked into a 3 fight deal? If so I think Meehan would be a good fight for whoever wins and
Meehan is ready to go as soon as Tua is ready....so a December fight would help him "clear" his obligations (if Tua wins)
early next year and with ranking in a number of organisations ... he would be in a position to have a crack at one of
the big boys mid 2010. I reckon Tua is praying for a Haye win!!

don't think so!
not for the wba title anyway.
meehan has been in the prime position to get a title shot for two years. if valuev and co. are scared to fight meehan u can guarantee there's no way they'll step in the ring with tua. and if haye wins there's buckly's chance of choosing to defend his title against tua either. do u think ruiz would fight tua to determine who the mandatory challenger is. no chance in hell.
tua would be left in the line like meehan and be denied a crack for as long as possible.
as for the klits brothers, i think they would fight tua as a last resort. there are too many more beatable challengers for them to target.

I agree about the WBA but if it would make money I reckon the Klits would fight Tua. They would be confident that they could follow a game plan that can make it an easy night for them against Tua. I'm not saying that one punch can't change it but I think it would be an accpetable risk v reward senerio for them...

i know what u mean as far as the klits have more chance keeping tua at bay then any other fighters but the payday wouldn't be significantly more than for them to fight other contenders. and knowing how wlad can be when put under pressure from the big bangers i just can't see him fighting tua. would be good to see though.

I'm just happy that there is another name in the mix in the HW division. I was amazed how conditioned TUA was and granted not a lot can be drawn from the Cameron win in isolation but there is no doubting that Tua is world class (at least with the current crop!!) and I think he has a profile that can generate the $$$ required to get a shot next year.
Im also a fan of Haye as the division needs these blokes to break the stranglehold of these boring Heavyweights !!
Granted Haye has done himself no favours ducking and dodging fights with the Klits after talking up a storm and until i see him walk onto the canvas against Valuev i wont believe its happening .... but if he gets over him and if Tua demolishes Meehan then it would be the big $$$ fight of 2010!
I can dream cant I?
