Tickets. Remember, remember the tickets.

Hatton has been a word-class fighter, a world-class businessman (sometimes) and a world-class professional. He's been good for British boxing but to suggest he'd be coming back to fight FLoyd for anything other than the $10mill plus he'd make is daft.

JMM at 140 sounds like a good fight. It would be a "loser is out" type of fight, Ricky would earn a good penny and it will be a good fight for his legacy. Wins that well and he's back in the picture.

Remember, many a good fighter has done worst against PBF. If it was just that fight, he'd be back in the reckoning within no time. He can redeem himself from the PacMan loss (using the caught cold excuse).

stop press boxing has liars in it. Has people who say one thing one moment and another the next.....suppose Ali was a liar and fraud as well then.......and certainly the amount of shite that has come out of calzaghes mouth ...he is too - eg. scared of flying , whats the point of fighting RJJ etc etc etc :witzend:

what about every person who has pre fight animosity then calls their opponent a warrior at the end, also liars and frauds...?

What about Enzo telling us he could win a title back then getting twatted by OLA and putting in a dismal performance...hola Ola? liar fraud box tick ....

nearly every person involve in boxing has done u-turns or said one thing and done another. Your negativity is pathetic.

fact of the matter is NONE OF US would go to work if it wasnt for money.

I fookin wouldnt and I enjoy my job.

Hatton still lives in the same area he grew up in goes down the pub with the same peope and is tight with his family.

contrast that to someone like Naz or PBF.....so yes he is down to earth grounded and loyal to his friends, why should he give a fook what a Enzo maccernelli stalker on a forum thinks of him?

really you need to get out more.

Can't imagine there would be that much money in a rematch with Mayweather. Floyd would muller him now and there are much better fights out there for PBF. How many people would pay to watch a rematch? I think there would be money in a Khan fight but I think Hatton should retire and enjoy what he has worked hard to achieve.

I can see this happening especially if Floyd wants an easier fight. Last time it earned them £15-20m each and the British fans will jump aboard the Hatton Express 1 more time. Its a bit like Tyson-Bruno 2, in a sense. Hatton was more competitive with Floyd than made out, and he is a touch style match up for Floyd in a way. They will probably try to say Hatton would have won if the ref let him fight his fight, Ricky Hatton only fights the best blah blah

And if it was in Manchester who here wouldnt want to go?

I wouldn't go after making the mistake of going to Hatton-Lazcano. Most of his fans are inbred numpties who don't know anything about boxing and only follow him because he has widespread public appeal. Of course he will have his diehard knowledgable fans too. I also couldn't be doing with listening to him blaming the ref again. IF he was so down to earth he would've accepted the Floyd defeat with humility. Floyd was, is and always will be a fitter, more talented boxer. If they fought a million times he would win every one of them!

Your so stung by my comments I'm thinking your one of Rickys family members or something

Guys full of shite

And them guys you say - Calzaghe, Maccarenelli, etc, etc............yep...........they were full of shite too

Calzaghe lost alot of peoples respect the way he did a U turn and took a easier safer fight against a faded Roy Jones rather than face a Kelly Pavlik or a Chad Dawson

And Maccarenellli was not lying so much but has always been deluded that he only lost to Haye by mistake and he thought he was good enough to beat Afloabi but that guy was a level above anyone Enzo had beaten and exposed Maccarenelli

We know Calzaghe is a green eyed monster and is petty and a liar

We know Maccarenelli has a silly deluded uncomprosing ego where he can never admit he lost because he werent good enough

Dont get it twisted - I got no problem slagging off other fighters - not just Ricky Hatton

Why would Ricky Hatton care about what I say - you ask - the answer - he would not care - at least he shouldnt care -

This is only a bloody internet forum after all............so what you getting so upset about ?

Hatton and Ray Hatton - are the biggest PR con in boxing I have ever seen.

Like every other mug - you have misunderstood the point I was making - I dont begrudge Hatton making a £ billion if he wanted -

Its his dishonesty I dont like

Mayweather, De La hoya, Lennox Lewis, etc, etc - they made piles more money than Hatton - but they werent conning people with PR bollocks and trying to portray themselves as something they aint

If a boxer makes a billion pound out of the sport - more power to them - no-one works for free

Dont mistake the truth with negativity :shame:

I dont see the point in a rematch though

Hatton dont really deserve it

The 1st fight was conclusive enough and showed Hatton aint quite good enough to have a realistic chance of changing the outcome of their first fight

Add the painful defeat he had against Manny Pac

And Hatton has regressed if anything

While Floyd looks well rested and fresh and as good as ever

This fight only happens if Floyd wants another comfortable payday.............knowing Floyd - that means it might happen

My point is the sport is full of bullshitters which you seem to concur with.

why single out Ricky?

Because he lies about money - as if its not important - when its always been the No1 priority.

Just gives the impression of a dishonest person

I know all boxers talk smack - but I think Hatton is more cunning the way he goes about things

At least Mayweather is brash and openly admits he is just out to cash in on the most profit.

Well I dont know

But he is fighting them just for money

He is a safety first fighter these days

He will not fight - Cotto, Mosely, Pacquiao, and he wont even share the same building with Paul Williams

He is not a true great - not in heart and desire - like Sugar Ray Lenoard and the rest.................who laid it all on the line against the best

It must be the money because Hatton cannot seriously think he has a legitament shot at beating Floyd? Even more so by the way Floyd looked in beating Marquez! If it were to happen I would back Floyd within seven rounds!
