Braddock or Sharkey . . try lower.

Like Marvin Hart, Rahman level low.

One poster said any Tyson pre-1996. I say any Tyson through the Golota bout knocks Haye out. How is Haye going to win? He's not good at nor possesses the strength for consistent clinching to stall Mike like Evander and Lewis did, and he doesn't have the stamina to dance and evade Tyson's bombs for 12 rounds.

What advantaged would Haye have over a prime Mike Tyson? Tyson would be just as fast, a harder puncher, just as good defensively, can take a punch better, etc. How would Haye beat him? The first time Tyson landed clean Haye would be in trouble, and unlike Valuev he would actually have the speed and accuracy to connect.
Haye is a question mark still we don't know what he he is able to do or not able to do.

I was being nice to the Hay nuthuggers. after 96 Haye might have a small chance that Tyson might just go for the one punch and miss but 9 times out of 10, Tyson connects and the Haye that was KO'd at Cruiser is toast. I'm sure someone might bring up that Holyfield was a cruiser but Holyfield DID have a chin, Haye doesn't have one that can survive flush heavyweight shots.

The fight is called off as Haye hurt his lil toe in training.
All this after he had a press conference wiv a t-shirt of him holding Tysons cut of tail..
Then he gets a title fight wiv Eric Esch for the KFC World Championship Belt..

Well Haye just doesn't have the whiskers to compete in this one.

I thought he beat Valuev 6-5-1... So going into the last round I had it even.

Tell you something... For all the criticism of old fighters it really made me appreciate the sheer ferocity of Dempsey's win over Willard and Firpo. Valuev was a bigger but comparable fighter in terms of ability. And with Vitali's low hands style (and I am one of the few posters here who rates Vitali and Wlad) perhaps some of the critcisms coming the old timers way can be seen to be invalid.

Tyson that beat Bruno in the rematch still KO's Haye early for me! No more than three rounds imo. Tyson may not have been his best by 1996, but he still was a ferocious puncher, fast, & in condition.

Haye's chin would get blown away!
