The morning after Haye arrived back in the Uk, there was a press conference held & a reporter asked Haye "What are the chances of you & Audley Harrison facing each other?" The question was firstly met with laughter then came an aswer. The fact there was laughter at the question speaks for itself.

People are on about Harrison boxing for the British title. Haye is the WBA champ of the world for crying out loud! Haye has NOTHING to gain from a bout with Harrison. There is not even financial gain in it for Haye because I;m sure he can make more money by taking other fights!

Pointless bout for Haye, totally pointless! More chance of Hundini fighting Haye than Harrison!

I think this fight will happen.

Haye would be a heavy heavy favourite, and quite rightly so. I`d have to predict Haye to get him out of there sometime after the 7th ... but I think I`d also lay a few quid on Harrison to get a KO win in the 1st 2-3rnds .. the odds would prob be too good to not to.. I`m sure quite a few others would also

Harrison isn`t as slow, clumsy and clueless as Valuev. He would pose a sizable threat in the 1st few rounds ,, before his bottle goes completely that is

Thats my feeling too. You dont go looking for one of the brothers to fight you, and settle for Audley Harrison. Whoever Haye fights has to be a genuine challenger who has earned the right to fight for the title.

You think this fight will happen on what basis? Haye bursting into hysterics when a reporter mentioned it to him?

And if it were to somehow transpire, how does Harrison ever manage to negotiate his way through 7 rounds? Audley would be shitting himself, throwing absolutely nothing, and Haye would just be waiting to time his one big right hand needed to seal the deal.

Theres a good chance of this fight happening after the first of the Klits regardless of who wins.

Its a fight the British public will go for if A Force performs over the next 12 months

Doesn't matter how many people in the UK may be interested. Haye has bigger fish to fry on a global scale and Harrison would be peanuts compared to what he can leverage fighting a klitschko brother. It's not even worth imagining what Haye does in the highly unlikely event he beats both brothers, but I should imagine he would want to get out of the game before he enters into a pointless and embarrassing 1 round swansong against a by-then fossilised never hasbeen who never even made European level. It would be a huge anomaly against his career to end like that.

Even if they knew it would somehow make more than that, Haye wants to fight the best and get out. He's only fighting Ruiz to keep the bargaining position of having the WBA title - but I don't think he even needs to be too worried about that, the Klits will fight him anyway as it's the only big money fight out there.

I dont dispute that Wlad and Vitali are far bigger fights, but who else is their that could get him huge PPV's without much risk?

Hollyfield, Chagaev, Tua, Peter, Toney, Chambers. Would any of these fights or anyone else you could mention gross more than A Force? Maybe Evander.


I'd love to see him fight Solis or Adamek, but I'd expect a much easier fight like Harrison inbetween Klit fights.

Their talking $120M fights. Why would he risk that payday to earn less money than he could against Harrison by fighting someone else in a more difficult fight.

There is no reason to enter a relatively even fight and jepordise such potential earning

But .. what other big money fights are out there for Haye?
Thing is the public know Audley .. and Audley - and sadly even Haye nowadays - can sell a fight on talking trash.

Harrison's just a parasite that should go away. He'd be on a hundred K just to get his clock cleaned, we'd all like that kind of money. The man needs to get some self respect big time.

Audley spent to much time believing his own hype and not enough time training and boxing. This fight will never happen because no matter how shite WBA are (they have 2 weight divisions with Super Champion, World Champion and Interim World Champion!!) they wont let this happen.

Haye will also make more money fighting in vegas at 4am against "top 10" than fighting Audley in UK where any boxing fan know that Audley has more chance of beating one out in his fist than beating david haye

Thats the thing with Haye, offensively he could look like a million dollars, but there is always that but with him.

I don't think Haye's competitive streak would allow such a meaningless fight to take place. He's one for getting in with the big names, i.e. the Klitschkos, not wasting his time with Fraudley.

I'm under the impression that the Hayemaker could going to Vegas this weekend. My guess is that he's not going there just to watch Cotto v Pacman, but to thrash out a deal with Golden Boy/Casinos & Hotels etc for a fight with either Vitali or Wladimir late next year after his mandatory with Ruiz.

Bigger money, massive PPV, chance of unifying the titles or a one-off fight against a guy that most British boxing fans are sick to death of and laugh at continuously! Hmm....tricky one!

I just see it as a nice and easy make a few quid outing for Haye. Would get public interest via The Sun big time, doesn't mean he won't fight the Klitschkos, just a 4 month hiatus in the timeframe.

Real boxing fans won't like it but they don't have to. If Haye made a career of such fights then let the criticism ensue - but as a one off?

Now that would actually be an interesting fight, in terms of just how much both would cancel each other out. If Fraudley really wants Haye, then beating Valuev might be a start.
