future publishing have done well covering gaming...they really got in there and supplied quality coverage. some brilliant titles.Deserter wrote:Well I worked at Future Publishing and ran Gamesmaster mag for a while, as well as socialising with all the guys from Official Playstation, XBox 360 mag etc, and there's no doubt those jobs have their perks - used to love finishing the day off with a game of Pro Evo on the big screen![]()
I started off on the Vic 20 (but really wished I'd got a Spectrum Lowersmiths), graduated to the Commodore 64, brief flirtation with the Nintendo (Goldeneye was a classic) bofore getting my PS2 and have been loyal to the Xbox 360 for the last few years. Still love a bit of gaming - currently working my way through Batman Arkham Asylum and looking forward to picking up the latest COD. Who wan'ts to grow up?
i used to work for tarantula studios, which was then bought out by take 2...then rockstar. i worked on GTA 2, lemmings, tropico, flying heroes and many, many more.
also, i was the best in the office at pro evo :) although often it was kingpin, unreal tournament or codename eagle on a big LAN.
a few years back they rigged up a pro evo challenge with people from all over the country and i beat everyone....however, i didnt play it for a while and a couple of weeks ago my 13-year-old nephew whipped my ass on it!!!!
