It was quite strange hearing Froch go on about Khan's chin as well, seeing as Froch has been hurt in his last 2 fights. His poor defence is cracking his chin fight by fight.
difference between getting hurt and laid out compared to getting up of the floor and beating up your opponent.

Your dead right.

It reads like I care more than I actually do in reality.

Khan's alright. I just disagree with the brainwashing programme and PR machine that goes along with it all.
:TU: fair play

wow, khan's alright? and the brainwashing and pR around him is part of a much bigger context, you mean?

i never thought i'd see the day

I'm interested to hear what Froch says when he gets knocked out, though.

froch's chin always holds up in the end tho. i don't knw how he wasn't ko'd in the pascal fight tho he took huge shots. why is it strange for froch to talk about khan's chin every person on this forum says he has a poor chin so why can't froch say it? :TU:

More people will pay attention to him if they see him do what he is supposed to do on a regular basis ie. fight.

Froch can say what he wants - but it's unnecessary for a champ.

Sounds like sour grapes and the interview reads that way. Very contradictory piece from him.

I usually think Froch comes across as a proper dickhead, possibly mainly due tothe twatty Hennessey PR department, but he comes across well here, being pretty fair. Dont complain about him talking about Khan when the interviewer asks him 10 Khan questions

Paquiao has only fought twice this year, 3 times last year and twice in 2007, twice a year for a world champion is about normal.

the guy doesn't have a clue about top level boxing. when you fight the best it is harder negotiating and finding a right date for the fight.

froch is telling the damaging truth, & i think it's through bitterness.froch has had to graft to get a shot & open doors & his promoter has got him nothing on his own terms, where as khan can steer his career pretty much were he wants earning riches :DD froch is jealous of khans coverage simple as.

I would like to see Carl get more limelight than Khan as he has fought much better fighters.
For example compare the two:

Froch
World level Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell,
Euro level: Tatevosyvan
British: Magee, Reid, Dodson, Barney, hague, Page

Khan

World level; Salita, Kotelink, Barrera, Prescott loss
Euro level, Kristinason
British;Lawton, Earl, Limond, Gomez

It obvious that Froch has fought and beaten much better opponents.

I like Froch - he's a proper fighter imo, willing to face anyone, wants to take on whoever is regsarded as the best. He seems to have a good sense of humour & although he may have criticised Khan, Amir is certainly not the only fighter to be criticised.

Carl will not underestimate Kessler even though Mikkel looked completely out of sorts against Ward!

But what is so obvious? When you list them like that they appear very simillar. You could argue Reid is bigger than any name Khan has beat at British level, but he was well past it and inactive when he boxed Carl.I think Earl, coming of a thrilling world title loss, acheived more than the rest and even Limond and Gomez top Barney,Hague and Page. You can have the Euro and i have stated my opinion on the world in an earlier post.Dont forget,Dirrell has'nt achieved anything yet.A close points loss to Froch does not put you above the likes of Kotelnik
