i just hope that he gets higher quality sparring in january, sparring novices for a euro title shot is not the best preperation.

Although it has to be said there no better time to fight larsen bar his retirement.

Still I am confident that the fight will be entertaining, and I give Magee the edge, but I do not think he will steam roll Larsen.

There is still no sign of this or Cleverlys fights being televised. There seems to be no trace of Magee-Larsen on Danish or German TV either so not looking good.

Maybe our Danish poster above could let us know if it's on Danish tv, a stream would be better than nothing!

I'm astounded by that really, I mean sure Larsen isn't the fighter of old but then again neither is Magee.
Is there any reason for this massive lack of confidence in him ?

Mads Larsen? what happened to him after the Ottke fight? he seemed to drop off the face of the earth.

Shoulder injury and "promotional differences" apparently

I stumbled across a video tape of Larsen versus Danilo Haussler the other night. Larsen fought well that night.

I seen on Cormac Campbells blog on setanta.com that they are showing the fight live. Typical after I cancelled it a few months ago. At least it's been shown, must start harassing the owner of the local to get him to show it!
