The stadium MK will prove to be a good venue for boxing, im sure. I live 15 minutes drive from the Stadium but have never had any interest in supporting my "new" local team. They dont have a bad following to be honest, mainly families.

I was well chuffed when i heard Steve will be promoting shows from the stadium. It will give people from Bucks, Beds and Northants a chance to see live shows locally :TU:

You're right it's just all families, just like watching an England u21 game or something, I couldn't think of anything worse. If not families then 40yr old guys who look like they've never had a wash.

I presume it will be in one of the function rooms or something, not the actual stadium as it holds like 30k.

As much as I don't like everything the whole setup stands for, for Peter Winkleman it's all about creating extra revenue streams as unfortunately the football alone isn't enough to stop a club going into debt....still hope they go under

The club doesn't actually own the ground and will not benefit from this event, all the money goes to a separate company called Inter:MK - owned, coincidentally, by Peter Winkleman... :oo

Best of luck for the year. I see you have Michael Devine on your books. Does he have any ambitions to come over to Ireland in the future to fight for an Irish title? I'm pretty sure he qualifies through his family?

I wish you all the luck in 2010 but I wish Graham would call it a day for his own health.
