Brilliant fight!

Not sure who filmed and edited it but they did a great job. They sold it on VHS via an advert in Boxing News the next week as I recall. I recently converted my copy to DVD. It was about 20 mins long with some good pre and post bits.

Well worth watching for anyone who hasn't seen it.

ERIC GUY wrote:I 'ACTUALLY' watched Nigel Benn against Anthony Logan yesterday, what a fight, with the atmosphere, Andrenaline, no TV, Press galore!!, Nigel had just left Warren, and it was Frank Maloney, Ambrose Mendy, Terry Marsh, 1st big promotion at the Albert hall, it was packed to the rafters, no 'official TV' it was a gamble and it paid off!! what a fight.........
What do you mean no official TV? Does that mean the clips I've seen of it are yours?
I've got a video of the fight that was done by Benn's people, shows him pre fight in the changing room, the fight and after the fight in the changing room.

What happened to that guy Bert McCarthy (I think that was his name) who managed Benn early on and later managed Errol Christie? He was some sort of wealthy business man who seemed to like to be around boxers.

May well have done, J! The Benn compilations were always very popular. I must have sold literally hundreds over the years I was doing it, first on VHS and then DVD. No time now though; I'd rather just share my collection via WBVA or YouTube.
