I need a win, i'll fight him
How do you know he's so bad? Or are you joking?hurlock wrote:how can anyone on here suggest reid could box proffessionally???
dean powell would really have his work cut out to find this guy a win.
some complete muppets have boxed professionally, but my posts on this thread are geared to the promoter driving this money spinning venture, not reid himself.hurlock wrote:how can anyone on here suggest reid could box proffessionally???

powell would be more bothered about someone using more fake tan than he does !! ...hurlock wrote:dean powell would really have his work cut out to find this guy a win.

Yes he had his opponent in a triangle about 10 times but couldn't finish it. For the trials he was fighting in the 170lb weight class, so I should imagine he'd be fighting at either supermiddleweight or lightheavyweight.Asterix wrote:I saw him in the UFC trials. I found it really odd. He had everything set up to win, but just seemed to faff about and show-boat.

I dont know much bout MMA but from what ive seen they dont seem to train with too much intensity, its like they just go through the motions. I think its all a bit "jack of all trades, master of none".
In fairness to Woodhouse. obviously he has been matched carefully, he has come on leaps and bounds far more than I thought possible, he must have a lot of natural talentWales wrote:I'll bet a promoter could get him to 10-0. I really need to give you my Cage Rage compilation. 8)Wales wrote:Fit as a fiddle to start with, and a blooming hard trainer and determined lad. Fair play to him.
but surely Reid has a huge advantage in that he is already an experienced fighter. I've read a lot of people saying "oh he's a load of crap at MMA" , now Ive not seen him fight, but c'mon, you have to have something about you to even do what he's done in that sport, surely.

Could you take him?Poncey wrote:Not considering the way he talks about himself mate.
He only flourished because Promoters weren't booking decent overseas talent and most of ours was pony at the time, or abroad.
Is Angel McKenzie really making money from the boxing, well I mean more than the a "normal" pro - didn't seem to attract a big following if her TV debut was anything to go by.Poncey wrote:Not with the way my BJJ is going.![]()
Also what weight would they stick him in? He'd have to drain to get to 175 and lose a bit of those sexy muscles.
I could see someone making money out of him. Just like Angel McKenzie.
How so?harrygreb wrote:its now official that alex is actually less intelligent than he seems to be on TV.
