your point about Booth having to grow old at some time hit home mate, I feel with him as I have in the past with several fighters at similar (lateish) points in their career- as though the recent excellent run of form is something quite fragile we should appreciate before it's gone. a boxer as easy on the eye as a Booth doesn't come along all that often.

Booth is a good fighter, one of my favourites. I like watching him and I used to like watching Nicky.
However, I wouldn't particularly want to live next door to either of them.

If you're not sure who will win (I'm not) but think it will go the distance, the 9/4 no knockdown with Sky looks a reasonable bet, particularly as i think these two are so skillful it doesnt lend itself to a knock-down drag-out affair.

That does look a bit of value.

Booth can dig, I have learned that from watching him in the flesh recently.
I think Marsh's slugfest with Rocky Dean suggests he is a league or 2 below Booth. Just my opinion. However he does have excellent conditioning. I'd favour Booth on points.

* Or was it just nicky, the burglar?

But that was against a shot Hunter, taking that into consideration is what swung it for me not to have a bet.

Ended up having a tenner on it in the end, was going to go a bit more but bottled it.

Good card & broadcast tonight, 3 good fights that certainly surpassed the usual dross that's served up.

I had it on the no knockdown, gutted as it appeared as much poor balance as anything

Surprised the Concepcion v Hammond fight didn't get a thread all of it's own...absolutely cracking fight. They will probably pick up the Midlands council fight of the year for their efforts.
Really good card. Well done Frank Maloney.
Gutted for Marsh, glad to hear he's getting another crack, although you couldn't begrudge Booth a shot at the EBU title if it comes along.

Hammond v Concspcion fight was very good. Shame the programme did not run for longer some of other fights would been good to see.

Yes, but I was very pleased Sky showed the whole fight. A close fight like that needs to be shown in full so the viewer can score it and not rely on reports. I though it was a postive move on Sky's part.

It was good to see a full like this on the undercard.
