I think Tyson is the most skilled prospect by far, he will dominate in 5 yearsteddy007 wrote:What do you think?bigsteve wrote:You disagreeteddy007 wrote:

Go on the general forum and look what this guy has said about who Hatton will be fighting the winner of!!!Wales wrote:Take a look at the punch selection by someone like Gavin, then Fury and come back to say Fury is the most skilled boxing prospect.
Gavin is quality but is in a tough division, I see the heavies as weak and base my presumption on that, myabe skilled was the wrong word to useWales wrote:Take a look at the punch selection by someone like Gavin, then Fury and come back to say Fury is the most skilled boxing prospect.
Do you actually believe Luke Fury will be HW champion of the world? Haye is a HW Champion and the Klitchko's have a look how they looked when they were on the rise.bigsteve wrote:Gavin is quality but is in a tough division, I see the heavies as weak and base my presumption on that, myabe skilled was the wrong word to useWales wrote:Take a look at the punch selection by someone like Gavin, then Fury and come back to say Fury is the most skilled boxing prospect.
Haye says he will retire in a couple of years, Vitali will too, the rest are pretty crap so I reckon he will be a World Champ. But would he have made it when Ali or Tyson where champs, of course notteddy007 wrote:Do you actually believe Luke Fury will be HW champion of the world? OK now you sound a bit more believable but dont for 1 minute think Luke Fury wll get anywhere near world class, he simply is not good enough and never will be.bigsteve wrote:Haye says he will retire in a couple of years, Vitali will too, the rest are pretty crap so I reckon he will be a World Champ. He may never be world class but will still be a world champ in 2/3 years time, maybe it says more about modern heavies.teddy007 wrote:OK now you sound a bit more believable but dont for 1 minute think Luke Fury wll get anywhere near world class, he simply is not good enough and never will be.bigsteve wrote:Haye says he will retire in a couple of years, Vitali will too, the rest are pretty crap so I reckon he will be a World Champ. I think they will be world champs but it will be tough, Look at Groves at SMweight, There are the guys in the super 6 and more past that, more will be known on groves after dilks which is a tough fightalexpaterson wrote:That is a good point Steve, but I still cant see Fury being a world champion, whilst Groves and Gavin are in harder divisions I honestly beleive they are skillful enough to win titles in their respective divisions
I was thinking exactly the same thing.TerribleTerry wrote:Dont let Lirva troll you lads
So you have Tyson Fury jumping form contentious descision to john mcdermott to beating the likes of Povetkin, Wladamir, Arreola, Sam Peter, Dimitrenko, Chambers, Boystov even Pulev - who could all quite possibly be around for another 10 years, thats without any other prospects we dont know about coming through. Fury is big, tough and game and who knows how he'll improve - but the best prospect we have. No chance.bigsteve wrote:
the rest are pretty crap so
David Price would school him and eventually stop him.bigsteve wrote:Tyson Fury by far the most skilled boxer that will end up at world level in the next 2 years
Brian, I don't see David Price doing it as a pro and as unsavoury as Tyson Fury is - he will progress further as a pro than David Price - I can see Price getting KO'd badly in the not too distant future. A heavyweight with good handspeed and movement beat him. He will get to a British title, maybe a Commonwealth but no further and he won't get as far as a European title.brian13 wrote:David Price would school him and eventually stop him.
I disagree with you Carlos, and I agree with Brian. Price is ten times the boxer Fury is, and with much more power. It'd be like boy vs man.Carlos-Wigan wrote:Brian, I don't see David Price doing it as a pro and as unsavoury as Tyson Fury is - he will progress further as a pro than David Price - I can see Price getting KO'd badly in the not too distant future. You saw his fight with Camarelle - a fighter with good handspeed and movement will beat Price - thats the blueprint for beating him - also I remember Price getting dropped HEAVILY against a real raw novice from Zimbabwe who won the Welsh ABA super heavyweight title in the four nations - I forget the lads name but the guy hadn't had 10 bouts and he nearly knocked Price out.Asterix wrote:I disagree with you Carlos, and I agree with Brian. I've only been a hardcore boxing fan for a few years, so I'll bow down to your experience. You've got to consider, though, how many heavyweight boxers there are with good handspeed, movement and power (you didn't mention power, but you won't knock someone out without it). I don't know how far Price will go, but I do think he'll get a title of some sort (English and/or above). I think Price has more potential than Fury and is a much better boxer. Fury, imo, has already lost in his first attempt to win the English title.Carlos-Wigan wrote:You saw his fight with Camarelle - a fighter with good handspeed and movement will beat Price - thats the blueprint for beating him - also I remember Price getting dropped HEAVILY against a real raw novice from Zimbabwe who won the Welsh ABA super heavyweight title in the four nations - I forget the lads name but the guy hadn't had 10 bouts and he nearly knocked Price out.
I am just giving an opinion on Price vs Fury - you could be right - but I'll tell you one thing in watching boxing for over 30 years - Price won't get past domestic level.
