I agree - I though he looked excellent boxing for England and in the ABAs at the back end of his am career - with a great style that should have converted well to the pros..

I know what you mean here. Cox, on any other promoters bills, would be a major star in the making - he seems a little far down the pecking order with the Olympians and Swifty and Bellew in front of him. (and rightly so based on pro performances thus far)

He would probably have profited from joining a firm which could afford him more attention and higher billing.

That said, he needs to show greater versatility in his fights and a better thought out fight plan if he is to move forward and excel in the pros.

maybe he needs to step up a level to get him motaivated again a dont think hes a that far away from brook & co as you all have been saying
yeah hopefully it's a case of needing to go to the next level and getting stale.

u do worry about his defence on that showing though.

didn't look good in the fight before that either from memory. :KO:

is brooks vs jennings being re-scheduled?
as you say hitman his defence looked a bit dodgy

in the amatuers a remeber in dublin 2006 4 nations he was standing trading when he was well ahead in the fight he did not have to take the shots but seemed wanted to put a fight on for the crowd :box:

step him a level and you will see the best
