Chris, all of us referee's wish you well, look forward to you giving us stick in the future and for many years to come.

You've had harder fights than this mate, this is one we will all score in your favour 80 - 72 :bag:

My dear Mum passed away from bowel cancer 6 years ago.

I'm not writing that to be morbid or sad, its been something very important to me since and it is my main charitable concern. The mortatility rate has halved since then and it is one of those classic cancers that the earlier nabbed, the easier to treat.

Never met Chris but met his son Jamie a couple of times, and liked him so of course, my thoughts are with the family.

Thanks for all your comments. I have shown them to Dad and he has been overwhelmed by the support shown by the boxing community.

He has recovered well from treatment and the doctors are positive with the results, so things are looking promising.

Thanks for mesages guys. The other day Lee Haskins said he must be getting better as he is starting to shout again! Check out this funny clip I have put on our site, it was a Calzaghe Promotions show in Merthyr Tydfill last year. Dad barges Calzaghe and Maccrinelli out the way. Joes face is a picture.....
