Try giving a bit of credit where credits due.....a lot of fighters would have bottled it under the same pressure in the same situation. Mick Williamson said the one on his head in his hair was the worst cut he had ever seen, and the doctor stitching it also stitched barrera's after the khan fight and said it was worse than his. I think he showed BALLS and showed how much he actually does want it..........CONGRATULATIONS PAUL X
Swifty,
All thats being stated and please read my posts, on this thread and others - Paul Smith is
NOT a world class boxer - he is far from it - however he showed a lot of heart, determination and guts in pulling out that performance last night - it was an intriguing fight one in which Smith did very well faced with the cuts he had - but that does not make him world class and in my opinion he never will be.
I find it absolutely incredible that just because Paul is articulate, is in most peoples opinion a nice guy, and posts well on this forum that we have to be seen to suck up to him - Paul Smith has done very very well in securing the Lonsdale Belt, he was in yet another good fight in my opinion - but if Paul Smith was ever going to be world class he would be disposing of people like Tony in the fashion that Carl Froch did.
In my view Smith will get taken apart by Brian Magee - if he proves me wrong - I will be the first to admit I have got it wrong and congratulate the lad - that is all that is being stated on this forum - get over it.
