I enjoyed watching Groves. He's exciting to watch.

Had groves by stoppage at evens, was starting to get a little worried, on Lynes to get stopped here.

The Groves fight was really good, but f**k me Colin Lynes just stunk the place out.

He's about as exciting to watch as Matthew Barney used to be. Why on earth they selected him as the main undercard fight I don't know, but I can't believe he'll be picked again.

Styles make fights - when Colin is in with an orthodox fighter who is there to be timed with the jab, he can look absolutely magic.

Oluguson was all wrong for him stylistically.

The televised undercard was pretty weak, as it happens. The "African opponent" was disappointing (no surprise there, then) , and it was an early stoppage considering it was a title fight.

The Olusegun fight was OK, bit of an odd ending , too.

Moore, shown as "filler" was a much better fight, shame he lost.

Friends I was with had paid their share of the PPV, but didn't watch the undercard.

Aye that was weird how Lynes finished, retching and all that... apparently he was sick in the Daws fight but somehow I cant recall that... he said hes going up to 147 but maybe its time to call it a day...

I said Moore's fight wasn't a bad one lol, thats a big scalp for Khomitsky.

Are you saying Frank W co-promoted Lewis's homecoming i think you might be wrong there. He held promotional rights over Botha so the deal for Botha was done with him but he was not Co-promoter.

landing what clean, very scrappy offair whilst ancliff was throwing anything , slapping and alot of back of head shots but missed continuously, gonzalez was calm and definately more precise making ancliff miss alot or blocking the shot behind good defence, ancliff throwing wild, missing alot, very poor ugly fight but cleaner punches although not alot of them were by gonzalez, you can throw 20 punches a minute but if your not landing clean doesnt win the round as to if someone throws 10 and lands 5 clean. round 1 gonzalez, round 2 clear gonzalez, round 3 close but cleaner by gonzalez, with 4 even nothing really landing by either fighter, all out aggression doesnt win a fight its what lands clean, i really didnt see for as much wild stuff ancliff through what was landing clean on gonzalez i saw gonzalez making him miss and blocking punches well, poor fight though gonzalez is much better than his performance

you don't win a fight a working hard, it's what scores, the cleaner work, throwing falling short slapping the back of the head don't win a fight, does it? Gonzalez did throw as many punches and didn't box like he can but was controlling the rushing with good defence and snapped ancliffs head back with good shits early , round 4 on YouTube what lands clean

well you didnt see the fight pal, 3 jabs!, gonzalez had the tight defence and land quite a few rights, he also made ancliff miss a whole lot, go youtube round 4 there tell me ancliff was tight (my arse) let me no if hit lands one clean punch buddy

it was a crap figth, one guy running in throwing wild slaps, the other moving around making him miss, clean work is what counts and ancliff landed on hold and hitting in back of head while gonzalez landed better quality, not alot of punches but much better quality, round 4 tell me a jab and clean punches ancliff lands please,

everyone will have there own opnion of what wins fights but 40-37 against the home fighter says alot in my book!

Well its my video of Ancliff and Gonzalez on YouTube - I didnt want to put more up incase I upset the promoter by putting all four rounds up.

Adrian is a good guy and I wanted him to win because he lives for boxing - but I think that maybe there is a danger he was thinking that its only about boxing skill. What I mean is that its a fight, the other guy isnt going to want to let a class boxer like Adrian get into his rhythm and to Ancliff's credit he didnt let him do that. Adrian needed to be a bit more aggressive and not just allow Ancliff fight his fight.

I suppose from the refs perspective you is going to score what he likes but I scored it a draw. Ancliff was scrappy and threw scuffing non scoring shots which Adrian either ducked, slipped or rolled away from and he was almost just running into Adrian at times.

Gonzalez was more measured and accurate and cleaner with his work - he just needed to be a little more authorative.
