Sad to see Moore losing like that - just didnt look himself in there and was trying to force it, instead of his boxing flowing naturally as it usually does.

I hope he takes some time off, re-evaluates and decides what he wants to do next.

Whatever he decides to do, he has been a great servant to the sport and I have whole heartedly enjoyed all his fights - an extremely exciting and refreshingly honest and level headed champion.

Salford has a lot to be proud of in Jamie Moore. :TU:

doesn't look like it was an injury that stopped moore, he just didn't look right in there, he was talking about moving up to 12 stone...that can't be right, you don't move up from 11 to 12 after one fight inbetween, maybe he needs to some time out to evaluate where he's gonna head now

Jamie just didn't look composed and everything he did looked laboured.

I think he needs a long holiday and see if he can rediscover himself.

He looked awesome against Piccorillo and was in immense physical condition. A real world beater. But he looked decidedly flat, almost overtrained-looking tonight.

Im sure he will come on and let us know his feelings in the week.

Well said and I agree. The battles over the years seem to be after taking their toll.

Here is a report from fightnews about his contest. Didn't see it myself.
Irish junior welterweight Peter McDonagh (15-16, 2 KOs) notched yet another minor upset, outpointing French national champion Christopher Sebire (20-4, 8 KOs) over eight even rounds. Sebire applied a continuous pressure to defensively-oriented McDonagh and seemed to tag him at least on a few occassions. However, referee, who was the sole judge of this bout, raised Irishman’s hand up, and the announced score was 79-75 in his favor. Fightnews had the fight 76-76 – a draw

Haye guilty of getting a bit too excited when he hurts his man, dives in and smothers his work, could be a bit more clinical.
