Hopkins calls out Haye!!!

I would actually like to see this.

People said similar about Hopkins before he fought Tarver and Pavliks, two fights that greatly enhanced his legacy.

Hopkins is a defensive master. Haye has questionable stamina. He could potentially punch himself out in this match up.

Obviously Haye would be a strong favourite going into the match, but I think it would be at least as intriguing as a fight against anybody not named Klitschko.

Yes, Hopkins knows more about imposing his style on his opponent than anyone other than possibly Jones Jr and Calzaghe in the last 15 years - he would be seriously outgunned of course, but he has an incredible chin, a masterful defence, and a sneaky offence.

I've no doubt that Hopkins could set traps for Haye, who is wide open at times - often enough to win - maybe not - but writing off the old bugger is an exercise in futility usually.
