I think Solis is to big a risk for not a big reward at the moment he is still somewhat unheard of and would cause Haye some massive problems

The "problem" Haye has is that he may feel he wants/needs to crack america, but without a viable american challenger, there will simply be no interest. All of the so-called top americans have tried (in the loosest sense) and failed against the Klits, so Haye has fewer options for a challenger worthy of a shot.
Eg, Arreola is probably the american heavyweight with the highest profile, but that match up would be tainted by accusations that Haye is simply feeding on Vitali's leftovers. The likes of Johnson, Thompson and Chambers have all been shown to be sub-standard (and probably no better opponents than Sosnowski or, indeed, Audley).
For my mind Solis or Adamek would be good next steps; alternatively lets see him risk it all against David Tua!! Guaranteed not to be a long night!
Don't be so sure, this man went 12 rounds with Lennox Lewis.
Audley will get past Sprott all right.Sprott has become a journeyman/gatekeeper type.He is fighting for the European title when most of the half decent Heavyweights in Germany have recently beat him!He is a late stand in,no more, and a chance for the great man to start saying how he avenged his defeat. He will be going on like Sugar Ray Robinson in the post fight interview,"nobody ever beat me twice"!Exoddus wrote:It's all foresight really. I can't see Audley getting past Sprott. So we'll have to wait and see, before people start talking about Audley Vs Haye
It maybe watched in england but would the yanks be bothered with it, and lets face it its them that make the fights lucrative, thats why the UK v US fights are always so big.Goz wrote:Haye-Harrison would be like this generation's Bruno-Bugner (although Joe was 10 times the fighter Harrison is in his prime). Bit of a circus/novelty type event.
Haye marks time making a few bob with a spectacular tree-felling lumberjack highlight reel of a win.
The Sun would hype it, it's proper white van driver fare this fight, loads of nasty soundbites from both protagonists. I really would not be surprised to see it happen.
You could well be right there, Harrison has all ready started the chitter chat with his "I know people are talking about me and David fighting at wembly" and "No disrespect but people arn't talking about David, i want a Klitscho" yadder yadder yadder blah blah. I personaly would not pay for it, i want more than 3 minutes for a £15 PPV, but Joe Bloggs could well be taken in by the Hype.Goz wrote:Haye-Harrison would be like this generation's Bruno-Bugner (although Joe was 10 times the fighter Harrison is in his prime).
