Regarding Carl's record coming up the ranks..... it is amazing how people can be so critical and make an angle against some fighters (some cases deservedly, some cases not so deservedly).

Naz is one record that I am always hyper critical to the extreme.

Now I aint of Froch, and I don't intend to start - Froch was a late starter so needed to rush through his career more. Even so, compare it to early career Khan (a fighter whose early career opponents get RIDICULED).... when you study them, there is not that big a difference.

Khan did fight a recent WORLD champion as a prospect (in the 21 Century), he did fight the British #1 at the time, he also fought guys who held their own at European title level at Lightweight.... it gets ridiculed though.

Now, I don't want to condem Froch early record, and his resume since being champ is excellent (no dispute) - just stating the angles and spin people can make. Tatesvyan IMO was Froch's pre world contender best opponent and he was simply a good EBU level MIDDLEWEIGHT operator.
