If this African is as big punching as his record suggests, Craig could be in trouble at 11 stone. He was planning to go back to light-welterweight.

McDonagh pulled out of Lusambya on Wednesday night, didn't want the fight and Watson took it.

I like Watsons attitude though, I read in an interview with him a couple of years ago when said he said he's jealous of journeymen who fight every week. He also took the Petrucci fight in Italy against all advice from his then promoter because he said he needed the money.

I understand what you mean though, it doesnt say much for the belt really....

It is down to the Commonwealth Boxing Council to stop the belt becoming no more than a TV title.

True, although its too late in my opinion, I think its a TV title now. The next step is if/when people and tv get bored of the match ups and its downgraded again...

Poor match. Another hatton poor headline fight. If warren was promoting this imagine the comments that would be posted.

At the end of the day though Watson still has to pay the bills, also he's been out of the mix a bit lately (which considering I thought he beat O'Donnell is a little unfair), so could give him that exposaure to get him back up there.

Didn't they suspend Ellis's licence?
