FW is a particularly good weight class IMHO. Can we do 10 round regular fights and 15 round championship fights this time round? The light guys don't wear down, so it wouldn't be cruel and unusual to do so.
howbout its optional. like the champ chooses.

We haven't even gotten underway and you are already searching for ways to get your fighters to the exits as fast as possible.

Yes, I will once again lead us down the primrose path, unless someone else wants a crack.

15 round title fights can be arranged I think. We'll take a vote perhaps, once the title fights begin.

I like Buzz' idea, maybe even have 12 rounders for the regional belts and IBO/WBU or whatever.

I concur...

However I don't like this idea of 10 rounders... :shame:
As posters have said before, the Featherweights are more athletic and are carrying less body fat than Light Heavyweights...

So I think 10 rounders are a bad idea, :shame:
We would be as well having a Prizefighter night.

Are we gonna clarify the situation regarding the number of rounds? :box:

I want no less than 12. By then, Saldivar will have KTFO his opponent, so whether it goes to 15 is academic.

Tell that to Barrera... And just for your information Hitman, Saldivar hasn't knocked anyone down yet.

So much for Salvi's apparent punching-power.

He has fought, and disfigured the face of, Marco Antonio Barrera, though kudos is due to the man's heart for the torment he stood up to that night. He also faced the great Willie Pep, who, when he tasted Saldivar's power, ran and grabbed for the 12 rounds.

Barrera is still pretty... But Salvi's ability to balance upright took massive trauma, from which he may never recover.
And it is sad. :(

And yet Salvi LOST. And that is the important thing here.
Speak of power, when you have a few KOs under your belt.
Not until. :shame: :shame: :shame: :shame: :shame:

It's Saldivar, not Salvi anything, NOOB.

Doesn't really matter anyway, that guy is not going to be a major talking point... :shame:

At least he was unafraid when faced with the wrath of the Professor. More than can be said for Mr McDuck.

Are you mad?
Barrera fears no-one, because he has fought boxers who are better than Nelson.
Namely: Saldivar, Sanchez and Pep.
And that is only in thefirst 5 weeks... Throughout this season you will see Barrera fight Arguello, Armstrong and Chocolate.
