Thats was quite good of Frank i suppose its necessary but a bit of a price to pay for a jorneyman our young prospect looking to get involved how much does a pro licence cost? Must be hard to start out as a pro boxer

i know but he did it when he didnt have to. and he didnt just do it for his fighters either

A nightclub owner in my area is giving promoting a try. Don't think he's got any boxing background, think the only link he has to boxing is that chris pyatt is one of his doormen!

interesting to see nottingham lad terry maughan is on that bill , i dont know him personally but quite a few people i know , grew up with him , meant to be aq good lad , but i have seen him fight on his debut on undercard of froch v dirrell and he was stopped by matt scriven , unbeaten since , but id imagine hes not going to do a great deal in his career if he cant beat the durable journeyman scriv .

Being a pro is very expensive. Not only do you have to find all this money initially but then you have to find the right matches etc.. Plus find a decent trainer whose willing to part with their time for a decent rate. Its best to find a sponsor. I had a couple and they were very kind and covered everything, never expecting much in return.

Fantastic read that, amazing how the guy transformed himself. He went from being a bit of a fatty to being cut like a pro in a relatively short period.
