It's Irish-Boxing.com what do you expect ?, the reason there is a preview is because O'Hara is in it.
You may note Sykes vs Morris was not covered by that site, why ?......because it had nothing to do with Irish boxing.
I didn't bother my time watching the Champions League or Heiniken Cup finals this year but I'm sure ITV and Sky gave a nice neutral position for them. Now had an English team been involved in either do you feel this would be the case ?, or would you expect that analysts and Commentators would call the game from the English team's point of view, using phrases such as 'what we hope to see from x is', because this is what I would of expect and to be honest I don't see any problems with that either.
it's Irishboxing.com, of course it's going to mainly give the story from the Irish fighters side of view, the people they are catering for are mainly Irish and they will predominantly want the Irish side of things.
As for the fight itself, I think it'll be close but I have a feeling Sykes will edge a close decision leaving O'Hara contemplating will he ever make the step up to title level.
If you read my post again you've just copied what I said and for some reason argued with it?!

Take a neutral look at an Irish fighter and, I'll agree with McNeilly on this, you get force fed a load of bile in return.

There was a show on recently, can't remember what it was but it was definitely on Sky and there were 2/3 young referees doing the fights on the undercard and they looked really sharp. One of them was a tall skinny lad and the other was a small coloured lad with cornrows. They are probably just not fully qualified to judge maybe. Anybody could score a fight better than Parris - I don't like to put down someone making a living and wouldn't wish anyone out of a job but the sooner Parris reaches 65 the better it will be for the spor in Britain.

Belfast battler Kevin O’Hara 17-6 (5KO) failed in his latest attempt to garner a boxing accolade for himself as he dropped to a unanimous points defeat against British super-feather champion Gary Sykes 16-0 (4KO) at the Huddersfield Leisure Centre, Yorkshire on Friday night, May 28.
A confident O’Hara, who lost his three previous title attempts, came flying out of the traps scoring telling shots. Belfast’s ‘Sweet Pea’ out worked and pressured the local fighter delivering left hooks and landing overhand rights with accuracy flush on the cheek of the static Sykes.
The plot remained the same in the second as O’Hara’s movement disrupted an unsettled Sykes' efforts. While Sykes was throwing more punches the telling shots came from the Irishman. Buoyed by his early success O’Hara came out for the third round by literally chasing Sykes across the canvas but the Dewsbury native soon began to establish his jab which warmed the until then quietened crowd.
