That's the one that immediately sprang to mind when I read the title thread.

I suppose Benn-Watson would have to be in there as well.

I have an old issue of The Ring and I recall an article analyzing this match up that suggested Ruddock would simply be too strong. Out of the big four at the time (Bowe, Holyfield, Ruddock, Lewis), Lewis was given the least chance for success.

I remember something similar mate but I think it was KO magazine. The article was "Who will rise in the fall?".

Hopkins v Pavlik
All the pre-fight talk was whether or not Kelly could stop Bernard but Hopkins made Pavlik look silly for the whole fight. It wasn't quite a Calzaghe-Lacy masterclass but not far off.

Tyson had a puncher's chance but little more. Given his performance against Nielson the beat down wasn't that surprising. Trinidad was made for Wright and again I don't think the result was that much of a surprise.
Wright-Mosley 1 & Forrest-Mosely 1 spring to mind for me.
Mitchell-Katsidis is obviously a recent example.
Holyfield-Douglas.
Lewis-Golota.

Holyfield -Tyson I. I thought Holyfield bossed the whole fight.Shame to see him getting bashed up by Toney many years later.Sadly, he weas no longer this version.I thought Evander would have held his own against any heavyweight in history on this night. So sharp and determined.

Watson V Eubank 2 - Watson was schooling Eubank (At Eubansk own admission) until tragedy struck. ("I was beaten by the third, I just weren't gonna be stopped -that was my goal")

Good for you if you believed Wright was going to hand out a beating like that.
Trinidad didnt land one shot all night. Did you really expect such domination?
I fancied Lewis before his battle with Tyson but there was a lot of support headed Mike's way. Whether this was born out of loyalty is another matter but I can recall many tipping Tyson.
Mitchell-Katsidis is obviously a recent example.
Holyfield-Douglas.
Lewis-Golota.

Whilst Wright was without a doubt the favourite, in both cases it did seem the case that the hometown fighters did, at least, have a chance in the bout- competative underdogs. Ensley's punch power had been talked up.
However, they were totally outclassed- I don't think either actually won a round.

I wouldn't say I predicted Wright would do that beforehand but it didn't surprise me that he did. I was never a huge Trinidad fan and De La Hoya boxed his head off before he ran out of gas. It wasn't too surprising that Wright did the same I think, although that's not to say it wasn't an outstanding performance as it clearly was.
As for Tyson, if he announced today that he was fighting Vitali Klitschko I've no doubt a lot of people would end up picking him. In the cold light of day I don't think too many people were surprised by the beating Lewis gave him (I was more surprised by the way Tyson absorbed it). I don't think Tyson himself thought he was any match for Lewis.
A few more I thought of:
Frazier-Foreman.
Roy Jones-Glen Johnson. In hindsight his decline is clear but there was a big difference between the 1 punch KO by Tarver and the pasting he took from Johnson.
Clinton Woods-Rico Hoye.
Tarver-Woods.

Those Eubank ones are the ones I thought of first too.
Also Eubank-Benn I and Eubank-Watson I, I didn't expect Eubank to be so dominant and at such coasting ease early on.
But Eubank-Watson II was the first one I thought of. Watson completely bossed it and totally dominated when Eubank was favourite.

eary rounds on Eubank Benn my favourite rounds ever. Eubank boxed beautifully. Benn did nothing wrong but Eubank was faultless......that's the adrenalin from the fear in him I think, really brought the best out of him.

Bingo was given a punchers chance, and so was Dodson - Foster wasn't though. People knew more about Wright at that stage.

Eubank didn't take a punch in the opening round of either fight, and Benn was going all-out.
I thought he won the first five very clearly and very easily against Watson.

I don't think anyone, until now, has ever described Eubank v Benn as a one sided performance
