i bet lots of ppl could convince themselves.
Too right I would mate, However the kids made 30 Mil and it'll be getting sold to us for £15 and getting glamed up like it's a 50/50 fight when in fact it'll be a massacre.. I think Harrison Vs Haye is a better spectacle... Ricky should stay retierd mate he really should.. I have known him a while and I have never seen him as bad as I've seen him the last few times.. :(

What really sickens me about this potential match up is that Hatton will get badly beaten up - almost embarrasingly so - the average Joe Public will then think Khan is a superstar and that grates on me big time.
Some may say Khan is a super star - he may very well prove to be one - and that will grate on me even more.

What the f*ck
Mr W arren did a superb job with Khan - its my view that Team Khan have pressed the self destruct button PR wise themselves.

Khan went PPV due to his promoter not having a fixed deal with Sky at the time.

No promoter in the history has done a job with Amir like Frank done.. Get's done in under a min then comes back to fight for a world title within 2 fights at a weight above and also fights a legend 1 fight after getting startched by an unknown.. If Amir get's iced in 1 round you better believe he'll be coming back over here with his tail between his legs cos GBP won't be trying to rebuild him you better believe that much..
GBP will be trying evey trick in the book to get Ricky and Amir in the same ring as they know it makes serious £££££ especially in England...

You are completely correct.
However - like Haye/Harrison - Hatton/Khan is a horrible horrible mismatch.

Khan is not liked by many British fans. If he fight hatton I would think there be loads of fights in crowd be worse than minter fight trouble IMO

Have to agree.
The money men want the fight - will the fighters be able to resist what is on offer.
Problem is - Hatton for me has to consider if he loses against Khan he will lose all the credibility he has built up over the years with average sports fan - they will not think for one minute Hatton has done fabuously well for the sport and himself - a defeat against Khan will show people how fickle and cruel the sport is.
Incidentally is there any boxing fan on this forum who gives Hatton a chance against Khan - dont get me wrong I would truly love Hatton to win - but I just cant see it - Hatton has had his day and should enjoy his money and build on his promotional company.

I'd give him a chance, he's a pressure fighter with a good dig. Compare this to the circumspect pot shotters like an old, half blind Barrera, european class tidy stylist Kotelnik and light punching hector camacho clone Paulie Malinaggi and you've got a different set of questions been asked of Khan.
I think the biggest problem here is getting Hatton back to 10stone. Can't see him doing the weight again after all the time he's had off.
But if he could and make the weight strongly i'd give him a 45-55 shot at the upset. And being the underdog is always good for the legacy. He loses, so what- he'd have beat him in his prime people will say- and if he wins!!!

Its an interesting fight, I don't know why people on here wouldn't want a big domestic dust up. Other than the fact they hate Khan and don't want to see him take a Hatton scalp past Hattons prime. But its still a big step up for Khan, Hatton will be the best he's faced by a long shot. Khan has massive height, reach, speed advantages. Hatton is stronger, can pressure and hurt Khan. The fight will probably be at 147, as Hatton won't make 140, which make it more interesting
BTW Someone on ESB reported Hatton said on the radio he wanted this fight....
