I watched the fight on Saturday morning after a tel call to check it out. (Watched up to Jefries fight live)
I'm confident Marcus would have scored it:-

9-10
10-9
10-9
10-9
10-9
8-10

57-56

Watch again and post which rounds you strongly disagree with. (Sound off please)

I was at the show and always score contests for my own enjoyment, I also watched it again when I got home, and I scored it the same as above. When people look at a contest they forget you need to score it over the whole 3 mins and not the last 30 seconds. Also never listen to the commontators they haven't a clue. Look at the main event Napa - Ian Darke, Jim Watt and Spencer Oliver all had it even when the 3 judeges had Napa 4 - 3 and 2 rounds a head. Sky put on a great show, but guys stick with the commentating and leave the scoring to the professionals as you haven't a clue and sit on the fence to much. With the Watson knock down which I made 10-8 it could have been a 10-9 as Watson came back stronger to the end of the round. Watson was winning the contest in the middle rounds with his jab. Also I have met Marcus McDonnell a few times at shows and he is one of the nicest and honest guys I've ever met, he always has time to talk to the fans, and he calls it how he sees it, I don't thing he's a hometown ref. He is an execellent referee's along with Howard Foster and Victor Lockran, these 3 are by far the best we have. As for Marcus not telling Gary Logan he had read out the wrong score, from my time talking to Marcus I don't think his the type of guy who would want to embrasses Gary in public.

Exactly.

So many people are VERY influenced by Sky's commentary team, who are often very wide of the mark.
