Personally I would be hugely disappointed in Haye if he targets Audley.

That's the problem - Haye's mouth and actions have now made any fight other than the Klits look like he's wimped out. If he had said upon turning Heavyweight that he'd like a few warm ups before them then fine, equally if he said after fighting Valuev that he didn't realise how hard heavies hit etc and suggested that he wanted some warm ups before taking on either of the bros then I think most would have been cool with that.

Still, he talks a good game and has got himself to be a household name so can make some money and I don't begrudge him that.

Terry O.Connor and Dave Parris will be judges and award Big Audrey the decision after he is flattened in a couple of rounds! He will then defend in a mammoth fight aginst Primo Fisting in the back yard of a curry house in Leicester - split decision with a return fight guaranteed at Primo's caravan site!

Most of us watch Audley in anticipation of him doing what he is capable of, which almost never happens. Maybe the fairytale will come true, and what a story it would be. He will be the new bloody Rocky if this one comes off. Look at it as a chance to finally see what Audley Harrison is made of when faced with his lifelong dream.



It's a novelty fight, I love it. Were selling it here, were split on who will win. Lets find out.....

come on, make audley vs haye. now we know why audley was fighting one-handed, because he'd injured his pectoral. so he extra did well to KO sprott. he's cleaned the slate - revenge over williams, revenge over sprott, and after losing to prize fighter winner rogam he won a prize fighter himself and got great vieiwng figures. audley may not be good enough, but he has "earned" his shot in terms of ratings and in titles (EBU champ). haye-audley has the backing of sky sports, the industry wants it, it'll make a healthy profit, have great ratings and they can showcase some good title fights (domestic, or european) and some talent, on the undercard.

From how I see this, Sos will face Dimitrencko for the vacant EBU.



The perfect scenario would be a double header on the same bill in London,
Aud v Klitschko
Haye v Klitschko

Now that would really be the biggest boxing event in UK history, but it will sadly not happen.

If this fight does happen (and I could forgive Haye for making it happen)... Mostly because all of the bullshit that Harrison has been saying about him.

After Haye destroys Harrison (fairly early on) I'd like to see him back in the ring, immediately, and I'm talking 2-3 months later.

Against either of the Klitchskos... Or at the bare minimum, Ruslan Chageav or Eddie Chambers...
(Both of whom I think he'd beat).

No he's not ready and doesn't deserve the chance,but for me this fight is interesting purely because of hayes chin,i just can't wait to hear Fraudleys boasting if he ko's haye.

Audley has never beaten a top 20 Heavyweight.... so he doesnt deserve it.... winning a pub fighter tournement and bteating a journeyman in Sprott (I dont know how Audley and Sprott were the top Euro contenders) isn't enough.
That said... i would still be interested if it did actually happen... very intriguing!
Audley would be approaching 39! Father time is already catching up with him.

Whilst I see the boosters' point of view --big event, people talking, yadda yadda yadda-- I still don't want to see this for purely personal reasons.

Because I think Audley is all wrong for David, & the big fecking lump will win spectacularly, & I will be as sick as a effing parrot.

The version of Monte Barrett that Haye beat was a harder challenge than Audley.

It is disappointing much in the same way as it would be disappointing to see Amir Khan target Matthew Hatton for his next fight.

Alleged Heavyweight Champions shouldn't be looking to fight guys who would get beat by the worlds top 30 at that weight.

Hahah! When has Audley ever 'made' the fight against anyone? Do me a favour. Haye has been the aggressor in every fight bar one that I can recall, and that was against Valuev, who has a rock solid chin.

Audley will just paw with the jab and shuffle around like he usually does. The minute he leaves an opening, Haye will start dropping some bombs, and Audley will retreat into his shell again.

I take it you haven`t watched Haye since his move to heavyweight? I take it you had him on the front foot constantly against both Valuev and Ruiz?

haye will back off and circle the ring looking to throw a big bomb as he did in both his last fights .. .thats how he does it now ...
Maybe you should watch one or two of Audleys fights .. sure he is alot of the things most people critisize him for ... but when he wants to, he can turn it on pretty good.
Just take a look at how he got rid of Danny Williams that time ...

i would hardly saw haye was negative against ruiz, we all know haye isnt a brawler and ruiz constantly came forward. also haye went on the offensive plenty of times.
valuev was a 1 off unless he fights him again
pre valuev all his fighst were coming forward look at bonin,enzo, booth, fraggomeni and barret to show that

That's not to say Audley deserves a shot any more, but Sosnowski has the most cynically puffed-up record in all of world boxing now that Butterbean and Faruq Saleem have retired. Just because he put in a fit and brave effort against Vitali doesn't change the fact that he's been a bottom-feeder for 95% of his career.

well, he isn't considered a "world level fighter" himself, is he? he's had good form of recent, vs williams, pianeta and vidoz. you don't have to be world class to be worth watching.

sosnowski never even had any amateur fights or big career build up. he's had mediocre nights but he's eventually become a good fighter. maybe it was only a job to him, but he's really upped his game of recent and should be credited for such. one of the few heavyweights that i'd watch, and his effort vs vitali - when totally outgunned - was far better than the ppl who have imploded (hide), run in terror (kevin johnson) or slumped to defeat in fat lump mode (williams, gomez, peter).

i'd love to see sosnowski v audley. it'd be a damn good friday fight night and an entertaining heavyweight battle. would they need the EBU title to fight each other? like i said, it's good to watch a fit, committed heavyweight who throws lots of punches. the pole is one of the few compelling fighters on the heavyweight scene. i'd also like to see him vs rogan.

if he can attract an adamek fight - and we know how tempting the british heavyweight equivalent is, haye-audley - then sosnowski would feature in a bigger event than may world class fighters.

If Haye doesn't win this fight in one or two rounds, something is badly wrong

I cant see anything other than that , Straight Right down the middle and Audleys a goner ,
imagine Harrison trying to scrammble to hold on while hayes finishing him off also if the First punch doesnt do it ,

Exactly - as piss poor as that fight was, I've never seen Haye fight like that before or since. He absolutely mullered Ruiz - quite how his display there can be construed as negative is beyond me.

You can still box off the back foot in positive manner, and Haye definitely does this positively (in the vast majority of his fights).

I bet if it was some fragile Italian the Rome head office installed, there be a good chance he'd go ahead with it and then rattle on about how he'd won the EBU title and successfully defended against his mandatory challenger thus deserving his "world" title shot. BUT, it's Dimitrenko and he's a real danger so Audley ducks him.

Yeah, I agree, let's see Audley take care of that.

First real belt Audleys won, even though he didn't win it in good fashion (beating Sprott). He vacates, rather than defend the only thing he's won is his professional career.

Maybe he is close to a David Haye fight, because without the EBU belt what does Audley have to offer anyone? With the EBU belt he’d be guaranteed decent fights like Dimitrenko, Sosnowski, Pianeta etc to improve his world ranking. Then he would actually earn a title shot. Problem is, all of these kinds of fighters would beat Audley and he knows it. He’s needs to get a crack at Haye for the title now, because it’s the only way he’ll be able to get a shot. Audley is nowhere near good enough to earn a shot or otherwise he would boost his world ranking by defending the EBU against fighters I’ve mentioned.

Audley will do to Haye what he did to the Dutch Sonny Liston... lights out

it would have been a good laugh, but i don't think the fight will happen.

i think a lot of ppl want the fight to happen, just so they can call haye a "coward" and a "ducker" regarding the klitschko bros.

my prediction: haye v vitali in germany later this year.
