he's carried it up tbh.
only valuev has stayed upright.
some of that stuff he was hitting ruiz with was painful to watch.

Haye is obviously still a hard puncher at HW, but I suspect if he was hitting cruiserweights with the shots Ruiz took they wouldn't still be standing come round nine.
I think Hamed is the hardest pound for pound British puncher of the modern era, followed by Benn and Lewis. Lewis' flattening of Rahman ranks as one my favourite knockouts.

I'm surprised that noone's mentioned Herbie Hide, some of his KO's were downright horrific.

Against the best opponents, lb for lb, it has to be Hamed

Id go for Naz for consistency.
Even at his current weight of 310lb he could still hang with Butterbean.

Lloyd Honeyghan was a hard puncher, and he did it at a high level, a 1 punch KO of Rosi shows that. I'd put him in the top 10

If we are talking pound for pound then without a doubt Naseem Hamed. Ridiculous power relative to his size. I would personally go further and say that he was one of if not the hardest pound for pound puncher in the world, within modern times.

It has to be Hamed for the modern era especially if it's P4P. The Dark Destroyer although one of my all time favourite fighters, just didn't KO that many fighters at world level. If it was Britains hardest puncher ever then I'll have to go for Jimmy Wilde. How many other flyweights have KO'd 100 opponents?

Hamed
Benn
Haye
Hide
Alexander.

Witter went on a run of 15 stoppages, which did him no favours in the Hatton camp.

Good point - forgot about him - but I'd still say Benn. I think Hide was a bigger hitter than Lewis - but obviously not in the same league in most other departments

Wayne Alexander - I never saw him actually make an effort to land a hard shot, he literally just stuck his hand out in the direction of the intended target and down they went.
Darren Dyer too?

Garry boxed a lad I know - John Oxenham; John had never been down in nearly 80 amateurs and never admitted to being hurt. He says that Delaney hit him with some evil body punches and was a very powerful man. A prime Garry v prime Bruce Scott at lightheavy proper shootout would've been a shootout

For one punch ko power i'd go for hamed, followed by lewis,at a lower level pat barrett was decent especially the Calamati ko,it was scary.

Lewis, absolute monster, the punch he hit Rahman with, would have knocked out a buffalo.
he did it against better competition than anyone else on this list, and had truly one punch ko power. Naz a very close second.
