JB, normally I would agree... But Hitman has brought Saldivar to mediocre obscurity.

In fact the only time you hear Saldivar mentioned is when he feebly attempts to beg Castillo for a fight.

As for Pep, he is a quality fighter, he just needs a little time...Another 3 decent wins for Pep and he would have broke into the top 10.

Instead he's in this bullshit tournament fighting for nothing.

Not for nothing, he gets the honor of getting KO'd by Jhonny G in the finals.

What a low-quality tournament... The event itself can only be measured bu the quality of the boxers...

And there are only three fighters in the top 25:

Pep - 16th
Tarleton - 22nd
Bass - 25th

What a silly, silly competition trying to gain little credibility.

Deno, this is a lose-lose idea for you and Pep... Pep is expected to win this.

If he does, it's nothing significant.
If he doesn't, then you become a laughing stock

Mind your own business and stop sticking your nose in everything as usual. I'm only entering because pussys like you refuse to fight when challenged and then make up lame excuses about the fight not being viable. Now if you are not entering, jog on and fight your unranked opponents. :TU:

The finalists of this tournament will rank very high and will be in title contention as a result.

nothing significant

Gonzalez would be in the top 20 had he been fighting the entire season. He is undefeated and holds an impressive draw against Saddler.

Black N Blue Promotions will enter both Sugar Ramos and Luis Kaplan to this tournament.

Neither fighter is adverse to fighting each other if a match-up commands it.

No, you would rather involve Pep in a rundown tournament, with a bunch of ragtag boxers as his competition.

This compeition is better forgotten... It is an underhand attempt at trying to bring some glory to lowly ranked fighters - and we have the Regional Titles to give the lower fighters an interest.

The only way to measure how good/bad a boxer - is the Official Commish's rankings for the top 25.

I fail to see what this tournament has for the likes of:

Pep is 16th
Ramos is 19th
Tarleton is 22nd
Bass is 25th

Okay, Bass won't end up in the top 25. Neither will Tarleton.

But Pep and Ramos stand a good chance to be up there, and really doin't know what you boys are meant to be playing at.

Lads, your best bet is to aim for the WBU title.
Mark my words, this charade will NOT get you far.

Really? and how will this happen may I ask?

None of the major players are in this tournament: (Armstrong, Saddler, Arguello, Sanchez) so how will it get you a title shot?

The fact is Pep's no 1 competition is Sugar Ramos... If Pep doesn't do well maybe his reputation will be diminished.

This is poor management.

Also, look at last week
Kaplan vs Hamed (Kaplan W)
Kelley vs W. Gomez (Kelley W)
Jhonny G vs Saddler (Draw)

Now go play in your sandbox and shit your pants while the big boys do some fighting.

I think Chris John is a definate. He's fighting Kilbane this week instead of next week because of his involvement in the tourny :TU:

I agree with sorting out close decisions :TU:

Can Kilbane get a rematch next week to sort out the early season draw with John?
Of course. We don't like unsettled business, but John is supposed to be in that million dollar belt tourney. Seeing as both John and Kilbane are fighting CPU fighters, we can do it this week and John will rematch Park after the tourney.
Just about confirms him

John was just a space filler, I was just planning for a just in case situation... I didn't want to leave Kilbane hanging for multiple weeks.
