Anthony Small vs Wlad Klitschko...
For my own reasons :)
For my own reasons :)
be fair though Baccs, Lindsay was mostly getting outdone by Derry's reach and jab, from what I remember, and Lindsay would i think have the edge on swifty for reach.... just saying...jBacca wrote:I appreciate most have not seen enough of Swifty but from what I've seen cooped with my Scouse bias, I think he'll win.Deno1986 wrote:Christ mate, no. Lindsay is a quality, proven boxer. Maybe after Smith has developed a bit more as a pro he would give Lindsay a good fight but I think Martin would be far too much for Swifty if they were to fight in the near future. Simpson fight will tell us a lot more about Swifty - from what I have seen so far he has the tools to go far in the sport. Smith - Owen would be a good fight also. More than likely Lindsay will be vacating the British soon to fight for a EBU/world eliminator so that will leave the British belt open for the likes of Smith, Owen, Simpson, Truscott et co to fight for.jBacca wrote:Smith v Simpson
Lindsay v Smith (Smith boxes rings around him)
Bomber v Clev
Haye v Wlad
Selkirk v El Maachi
Khan v Ortiz
Watson v Limond![]()
In all seriousness though, the Lindsay that fought Matthews I believe would be comfortable beaten by Smith. Until the peach that Lindsay caught Derry with, Lindsay was being largely outboxed. So bearing in mind that, and that Smith is even better than Matthews, I think Ste wins.
Although, I do believe Lindsay has been looking good in his recent victories. Has impressed me.

Yeah for sure but atm he's scheduled for a fight on July 2nd and still no opponent announced - so I thought Bhatia would be asuitable fill in and because of their respective styles it would make for a good fight.Counter-puncher wrote:be fair though Baccs, Lindsay was mostly getting outdone by Derry's reach and jab, from what I remember, and Lindsay would i think have the edge on swifty for reach.... just saying...jBacca wrote:I appreciate most have not seen enough of Swifty but from what I've seen cooped with my Scouse bias, I think he'll win.Deno1986 wrote: Christ mate, no. to whoever mention Bhatia-Lindsay, i think he would need to fight an eliminator against someone like a Truscott etc before deserving a shot at Lindsay. losing to Jamie Arthur doesn't give you the shot IMO.
