The "evidence" im basing it on, is that he has appeared on several young british heavyweight loaded bills on sky tv recently and amongst the other 6-7 guys he stands out for beingfunso banjo baby wrote:what evidence are you basing this on.
hes fought nothing but tomato cans so far
if anything these foreign imports are the throwbacks
a) in shape and at a weight many HW's were in previous times rather than the usual 250-260 lbs of out of shape blubber.
b) he isnt running his mouth off and is quiet and willing to learn.
c) he continues to learn and improve in every fight and has a natural crispness and economy of punch and apparently natural power that most of the others dont.
I wouldnt read too much into his being "stiff and upright" . Frank Bruno and Henry Cooper were stiff and upright too, there you go another reason for him being a throwback.
Some of the guys dismissing him so early at this learning stage, just give him a chance and we will see how it pans out.
