Thanks Kylamy for the updates on what appeared on paper looked a stew, but with now the background to actually what happened in the fight and with the attitude of our fighting representative now out in the open, it easy to see it was a case of us downunder assuming the worst when in fact things were so much different.

an oldie but a goodie:

as far as getting robbed overseas. nothings better than when danny williams went to spain and fought konstantin airich on a ahmet oener promotion.
have a look at the 6th round. danny was close to stopping airich and the promoter lent over and rang the bell with 95 secs left in the round...have a listen to the commentators.
attrocious refereeing
"In round two Danny got 2 points deducted for only his 2nd low blow warning.
In round 3 Danny got 2 standing 8 counts even though it was't in the rules. Danny's tape also came loose and he had to cut it himeself after the ref let him fight for over a minute with it.
In round 4 Danny got a count after a slip (he threw a right and slipped).
In round 5 Airich went down and the ref gave him 10 seconds PLUS an extra 10 to recover.
In round 6, Danny had Airich is huge trouble after 1 minute but the bell rang after 1:25 of the round! Unreal!"

Basically you have to win by KO in these joints.
its the same in australia
Yeah right it's the same in australia certain fighters who train with certain people only have to go the distance

LOL exactly what I was thinking. Who's to say the 114-115 wasn't the dubious score?
Y'see.
Don't just assume a result is crooked just because one of your guys loses a points decision in a foreign land.

you,re right,i think brad has got it straight from the stable, johnny lewis silence should say it all,not that he ever blows up,the judge you are talking about also has worried me over some of his referreeing,i think everyone should be accountable, and as mark said ,if your from the right stable you are likely to get the nod,it does happen here. all the best
