I grew up in a house where boxing was king. It was my dads favourite sport. At 12-13 i knew every world champion at every weight by heart! ..i've been around forever and i've been listening to boxing on the radio, readng about it in magazines...i have about one hundred books about boxing and have seen a lot of fights on tv and live boxing....so it's no surprise that i have some knowledge of the sport.....but i'm posting this to say i am hugely impressed by all of those young guys here who know so much about the sport and about its history, which shows they have spent considerable time in reading about it and whatever other sources from which they get their information and form their opinions.


so..congratulations to you young turks who are helping to keep the history alive
