i wouldnt base it on that
Im not saying that Skelton would fight the same way if it came to a fight with Larry but Larry can have him at this stage in his career.

I disagree, Skelton is very seasoned and with the greatest of respect to Larry he hasn't proved his fitness over an 8 round + distance. We hear that he trains really hard but yet his weight hasn't changed by much since he made his debut and actually has gone up since the turn of the year I think. If his coach/coaches think it is of benefit for him to do a lot of weight training then fine but personally I think when you are that size and that muscular you can easily lose a stone or 2, still be a big bloke compared to most and benefit from the improved stamina as you aren't having to lug all that weight around. I know you read the board Larry and best of luck to you, you and your coaches know infinitely more than me but I just reckon being 260lbs will in the end catch up with you when you meet one of these guys at the upper end of the British ratings who can extend you into the later rounds.

Its wrong to even compare the two yet.Skelton has been in with some very good lads and Larry is a novice. It would be daft for Larry to take. Its only a few years ago Matt boxed Chagaev and beat Danny Williams!

what do you mean ?
I have a gut instinct Sexton or Chisora will pull....based on no info I must point out.

Every time there's a new Prizefighter, a bunch of people on here complain about it. Yet every time there's a new Prizefighter, it's sold out.

As for a fourth heavyweights tournament, how about these 8, who are all available at present and may well consider it.

Rogan
Skelton
Sprott
Gammer
McDermott
Baker
Hughes
Barrett

Good line up.

Why not add some international flavour to these events?

True, but I remember back pushing 10 years ago something similar was said of Skelton when he fought Michael Holden.

Larry, at his age, has got to be let off the leash at some stage. Maybe the afformentioned Holden (anyone heard if he is no longer considering his comeback) might be more suitable, but I would like to see Larry in such fights sooner rather than later.

Forgot about Burton. Decent shout, although he seemed to take losing his last PF appearance quite hard.

Considered Howe but he hasn't fought since he lost, has he?
