This fight was a joke. Briggs took an obvious dive. I knew something was dodgy soon as I seen Ahmed Elomar in Briggs corner. Hopefully those that paid $50 for the PPV get their money back.

My brother works for the PCYC and saw Briggs spar a few weeks ago down at South Sydney PCYC and he said then that there was no way the fight should go ahead.

I don't think Paul Briggs is the type of guy who would take a dive..... I hope this is the case

3 years is along time to be out of the game with only 9 weeks preperation to go up against someone like Green coupled with his previous health issues, looks like the NSW boxing commision got it right.

Now it is time for Danny to step up and face some decent opponents

no wonder nsw knocked back biggs re: medical problems... He wasn't up to it any way you look at it!

First I lose money paying for airfares to Sydney. Now I waste $50 to watch a piece of crap take a dive. Maybe Briggs should be playing for the Italian soccer team. Aussie boxing is such a joke at the moment. No wonder UFC is taking off so much. I really hope there is some sort of legitimate excuse because I used to have a lot of respect for Briggs.

what a shame. briggs obviously was not in fighting condition - one commission refused the fight and he was puking up after a recent workut - and was tempted by the money, ending up embarrassing himself. briggs was obviously woeful, didn't make the contracted weight, and got stopped with the first punch.

blame briggs. however, what is danny green doing fighting a guy nearly 4 years out of action, who looked bad in his last fight? answer: he is exploiting the names of ppl like paul briggs - once good fighters - and he'll keep on with these dreadful "fringe" fights and farces until australian TV demands MUCH BETTER for their money.

Totally disgusted with the whole show. Paid $50 for an absolute fraud event..dont care what bull crap Green spewed out afterwards....you knew something was up yesterday at the weigh in.. Briggs was fat,unfit and had an attitude that indicated he had no interest in the fight .. he took a dive no question... and for the fox sports guys to try and say otherwise was just crap. got a massive bad taste in my mouth...I WANT MY MONEY BACK YOU BUNCH OF CROOKS!!!!!
