we're all saddos, that's why we post on the internet.FtmPress wrote:You are all reading to much in to this,we all know Tony had a bad night and the team have had a number of meeting and Tony has be told to go away on hols and forget about boxing for a few weeks. Nothing will be done untill Tony returns and myself and his manager meet after every one has had a break and time to think things over. And if you lot thing this is the end of the world(tony jeffries) you have some very sad people on here posting and if this is the worst upset we have in Tony"s career i will be very happy.
Truth is, nobody likes criticism, which is why a lot of fighters don't post.Old bones Ian wrote:Do you think everything is over anylised nowadays?
1 bad performance doesn't mean the end for any boxer, but in the modern age , the boxer can't look at anything without his performance being picked clean by 'experts' and 'anoraks'.
A few years ago he would of got a few newspaper reports and the write upin BN, after a couple of weeks he couldn't of read about it, unless he kept rereading the old reports, but now a boxer that goes online can get it brought up day after day.
After a while thats got to effect even the strongest willed person.
