Re: My Bets Over The Next Few Months
This is a difficult fight to predict - I wouldn't bet on it in an accumulator.alexpaterson wrote:Im convinced the other way, I reckon Barker can outbox him and get a decisionHagler2002 wrote:Barker is made for Macklin, I'm convinced this won't even be close.alexpaterson wrote:I think Barker and Cloud will win and cant see Kotelnik getting stopped
I think Barker should win on points. I think Macklin may be shopworn despite training with Roach. Barker's chin is suspect though so I'm not convinced either way.
I wouldn't want an accumulator resting on this. I'm uncomfortable betting on Pirog as well as Jacobs is the homie.
I think Roman Martinez via KO/TKO @ 5/2
Steve Molitor via KO/TKO @ 3/1
are good bets, for what it's worth, as I'm having my worst year!
Re: My Bets Over The Next Few Months
I think Johnson has a very good shot at beating Cloud, who seems quite overrated. Woods hit him at will when he actually let his hands go and Gonzalez was clearly on the decline.Hagler2002 wrote:Glen Johnson @ 2/1
Devon Alexander via KO/TKO @ 15/8
Roman Martinez via KO/TKO @ 5/2
Steve Molitor via KO/TKO @ 3/1
Matthew Macklin via KO/TKO @ 7/2
Kell Brook via KO/TKO @ 10/11
Derek Chisora v Sam Sexton Under 7.5 rnds @ 11/10
Wheelbarrows at the ready
The only pick that strikes me as really unlikely is Alexander stopping Kotelnik. Alexander's KO of Urango is misleading-- the American is not a big puncher. Kotelnik has a solid chin and very good defense, so I will be very surprised if he is stopped.

I think Alexander has a decent chance of stopping Kotelnik. I know past form and all that but if Khan hadn't been so concerned with running after jabbing for 10 of the 12 rounds, he had Kotelnik looking distinctly uncomfortable late on.
AK hasn't fought in what, best part of 2 years? Struggled like hell to make 140 last time out and here he is, fighting at 140 again. He's got a lot of miles on the clock and has been at 140 for his entire career almost.

Well Done. I went for Jacobs outright along with Sartison to beat Ghevoor. Let me down for £180REAL_DEAL wrote:Dmitry Pirog to stop Jacobs
