But, conversely, and surely, if his defence and ring-awareness is so great, then people will wait for him to lead.HomeOfBritishBoxing wrote:his defence and ring craftmenship is immense, once he is fighting good fighters he won't have to come forward like he does against the journyeman types he has been fighting and will counter punch and show his classDioufy wrote:Too easy to hit in fights, not much power, and likes a fight when he should box more. European class, before he's beaten, IMO.
And I still remember when he called me a "fuking prik!"

Re: Frankie Gavin
I think Frankie will become a world champ, no question about that... What weight though? think he was thinking about moving up next year? dunno if he will nor not... Only saw him live once and that was down in Newcastle (missed your fight Bomber
) and the body shots he hit Samir Tergaoui were brilliant.. He goes from head to body brilliantly.... Defos a future Champ

Really excited about how far he could go, just needs to keep his feet on the ground, and listen to his trainer.
He can't be far off boxing Nigel Wright for the English title.

You wouldn't get knocked out cos you wouldn't even make it to the ring you dope!!!
Frankie is a 10st fighter, He'll dominate, people are entitled to there opinions but when they actually see him do what he does best they'll all realise why I rave on him so much...

i think michael grant would be a good match for you aswell. to come from boxing elite fighters like you have, i think there's somtimes thrustration in your performances, that your not trully being challenged on the level's you thrive on.
think lenny daws is absolutely made for you inall.

On another note Frankie, Paulie Malignaggi has left Dibella and is going to be using his Italian heritage to get in the mix in Europe.
I think it would be a good fight for you in the next 12 months. Good name, decent exposure and also prepared to come to UK for a payday. Otherwise it's Lenny or Ajose at domestic class, for the Brit or Commonwealth.
Then there is the fringes like Juan Urango, Peterson or Holt or equivalent for 2011/2012 before a world title shot in 2013 or so.
