Tough fight for Eddy but defiantly winnable……Good luck Eddy!!

This fight defintly hasn't come to soon like paul derry and swft says we know him best and we know how good he is, if he wasn't ready or there was doubts he couldn't beat him the fight wouldn't be happening. This is his chance to show everyone how good he is and believe me there won't be anythink or anyone that will stop him winning this title! The vaughan camp will be flying! And the new!!!

Shinny don't wanna give me a rematch so I'm gonna have to wait till I'm made manditory he was given the choice of me or Edwards and picked Paul so I'm going to try and keep busy till the board make it happen!its a joke really but this is boxing!

Well, he doesn't want to get robbed again does he? I don't blame him, the only only joke about it all was the desicion that night.

x3 how can it be 'a joke' that he won't face you again straight away? Shinny got robbed of a good win, he doesn't owe anybody anything, he's come through the hard way and doesn't get any favours like upcoming protected fighters who bring a crowd do.

Side step,slip or duck call it what u want I didn't have to fight shinny there are alot easier fight that were on the table no one else would fight him and I did yeah I was shit in the first half of the fight but I got into it an u are talking like I was one shot away from getting stopped never did shinny hurt me and I knew he felt lucky to finish the fight rounds 9 and 10 he didn't throw a shot!!and another thing I didn't judge the fight or ref it and you no it was one of them fights where ppl scored for what they like as everyone had a different score!!all I'm saying is there is unfinished bizzness and we need to set it straight weather it be me beating shinny or shinny beating me we need the fight to happen and we need a definate winner!and u will see a better boxer I went from a boy to a man in that fight and I will win the British title next time round!roll on October!!

I haven't seen the fight so can't comment on it! I only said good side step because you avoided the question! Good luck for any re-match and for the rest of your career.

I wasn't gettin at ya mate just wanted it made clear that I wanted the fight and am disapponted that it's not happening now!

Sod that im a Shinny supporter, that guys got heart, he's a genuine British champion not just a gate keeper for young up and comers. No direspect to sexton and edwards, i like those guys and want to see them make it, but i wouldnt like to see them beat Shinny unless they are bringing their A game and producing something special.

Something that sexton is saying he didnt do, so fair play, good 12 rounds of invaluable learning experience that he / you'll be thankful for later down the line (probably in the rematch lol).

No one is side stepping or being side line, I beleive the BBBoC will Oder a rematch between Ashley and Shinny, We did offer it to Shinny's team next but they ask for a fight before the rematch, And looking at the flyweight ratings there was only Chris Edwards and young Paul Edward's it was team Shinny who pick Paul out and we now have apply to the BBBoC for a voluntarily fight before the rematch. I hope this answers all question's. Ashley is right on what he has posted he did not have to take the title fight when he did, He step up to the plate and i agree with him he will be a better fighter for it .

i think the side step comment was taken out of context, saying he side stepped the question. No one was saying sexton was avoiding the fight.

Fans will always rather see a guy take a risky competative fight and loose then come back bigger and better, than take an easy fight and win.

Like most I thought Shinny won fairly clearly, but now Ashley KNOWS he can come in strong in the later rounds in hard title fights, he's bound to improve !

A rematch would would be a great 50/50 fight that fans would like to see.

He's a better fighter then he was that night....

Shinny gave Edwards the old 'cut throat' gesture today at the weigh in - although Edwards didnt seem to give a monkeys he just laughed it off. Their head-to-head had the most tension.

Edwards only just beat the guy who sung 'addicted to love' in the 1980s on his debut... do you think this guy..
