You screwed him by not participating, one more proper vote like my Frazier followed by Lewis would have tied him with Dempsey.

Yep, sorry about that.

I thought Frazier was a sure ticket to get to the next round.

I forgive you, the fact that Joe was named on more ballots than Dempsey exposes some flaws in the system.

There was a reason I told people to put down their Group Winner first then the Runner Up.

In the final count, boxers get:
2 points for a vote to win the Group
1 point for a vote to be Runner Up.

Lennox Lewis scored 13 points. (5 winner votes, 3 Runner up votes)
Jack Dempsey scored 11 points. (5 winner votes, 1 Runner up vote)
Joe Frazier scored 9 points. (1 Winner vote, 7 Runner up votes)

As you have already said in your votes. Your contribution was noted and counted. :TU:

No it doesn't... My scoring system is simple and effective.

For example, do you think that a vote to be Group Winner should be held in the same weight as a Runner Up vote?
Clearly it shouldn't, or else there's no incentive to strive to differenicate between the Group Winner and the Runner Up.

My system works, if you had voted things would have been different (maybe?) :TU:

It matters not.

Dempsey would have brutalised Frazier anyway. Four rounds. Six, absolute tops :TU:

Frazier emasculates Lewis and leaves Dempsey face down on the mat.

Therefore, your "system" produced the wrong result. :shame:

Have your say on the Quarter Finals matey, your input would be appreciated. :TU:

Your main man, Frazier might not be there, but it'll be interesting to hear your opinions.

No, just the footage

Frazier-Lewis would've been interesting, in that I can see it playing out several ways very realistically. Ultimately, I would go for Frazier by a late stoppage.

Are you kidding?? we all know what George Foreman did to Frazier??
Lewis was almost as powerful as George (both are among the most powerful punches ever)... but was actually a higher skilled boxer than George.

I know Lewis' chin comes into question... but both Rahman and McCall were 40 pounds heavier than Joe.

Lewis KO's Frazier in 5

Not kidding at all.

Sure, Lewis could land something big early, but I think Frazier successfully gets under and inside, attaches himself to the Lewis chest and saps the will, ultimately prevailing in a long fight.

I suggest you rewatch Lewis... He could never be described as a "power puncher"... In many of his fight Lewis used his leaning jab to great degree, just pumping it out to the keep his smaller opponent away from him.

Ocasionally, Lewis would chance a stright right, then go back on the jab... Lewis got great criticism for having "boring" fights because the fights consisted of Lewis backing off and jabbing, while his opponents stalks him around the ring.

Think of it this way, when was the last time you seen Lewis in a brawl? If he was so powerful why didn't he get stuck in and overpower his opponents?

Against the likes of Tua, he just backed off and backed and backed, throwing the jabs... And Frazier is more powerful than Tua.

And both of them were not as powerful as Frazier. Weight doesn't translate into power. :shame:

Actually I would say that Frazier KO's Lewis in 5. The only way Lewis wins this fight is if he can bring it to points.

If Rahman can KO Lewis, then Frazier will kill him!

It certainly won't be a Lewis KO victory anyway. I don't know where you are getting this sh1t from. :shame:

Agree that Frazier takes Lewis out, I just think it will take a little longer than five.

On the other hand, once Lewis is fully aware of just what he is up against, his resolve might erode and the festivities might just end earlier.

I always said that Lennox Lewis was overrated... And I would have Frazier in my top 8 boxers of ALL TIME!

Lewis would get hurt if this ever happened.

Lewis was a cautious and calculating... but that didnt mean he didnt have power. How many one punch KOs did we see in his career?.... numerous! Just because he didnt throw his power gung ho at times, didnt mean he didnt have it

And Frazier simply buckled under Foremans power.... in 2 fights. Though Foreman is one of the hardest punchers ever... Lewis isnt far behind. If Lewis lands one of his big right hands on Frazier its game over
