If I had been doing the British Top 30 P4P rankings since 2002, I am sure that Hamed would have fallen out of the rankings due to inactivity by now.

mathew hatton ahead of brook ? :your avin alarf!
What is it with all of these recent questions asking me whether I am joking or having a laugh?

Matthew Hatton's record is superior to Kell Brook's, that is why he is ahead of him in the rankings.

I will save my final decision until I post next month's rankings, but I think it would be very difficult to leave him out of the top 10.

looking at the lower top 10, he should be in there now, could make a case for him being as high as 5 as no 5-10 cant top that victory just now

He has not fought for a year and looking at his condition at the moment he would not be ready to fight again for at the very least 6 months.

Im sorry to say this but yes i do think he is finished.

I don't currently take fighters out of the rankings due to inactivity.

If he loses his boxing license then I will consider removing him from the list.

surely Ricky Burns should be in there somewhere now that hes holding a world title and was previously already seen by many to be the number one super featherweight in britain!

anyone in agreement or am i being biased as a scotsman?

This list was done before Burns won the WBO title. Before Burns beat Martinez his recent opposition had been poor and he had also been fairly inactive, so he had not qualified for a place in the rankings.

Burns will be in the rankings next month.

re: burns, prior to his big win, at best he'd have been mid 20's and cant overly complain about ricky being omitted but with that win, i'd merit him a place as high as 5 due to ricky beating a world champ that was no 1 with boxrec and no 2 by ring mag at the weight. no one outside the top 4 could match that at the moment

I've got to say, his slate is shockingly bad for a holder of a Lonsdale outright.... he's probably beaten one top 5 domestic welter so far, perhaps 2.

Plenty of BS stoppages, and a joke opponent in Bienias last time out, even then he took ages to get rid of him.

Jennings is going to tool him I think.
