One lucky punter chosen at random is given a usable budget by ITV and left to get on with organising, advertising, and running a real night of boxing. Top Promoter Frank Maloney is on-hand to make sure he remembers to book an ambulance and all legal requirements are complied with, as well as to provide analysis and commentary.
Wish there was the interest in boxing to make something like that happen, it would be fascinating.

I don't know your individual situation but if you have annual leave then you can afford it, its how much you want to do it. I would happily use a weeks annual leave for such an insight...!
i have 3 days left i am contracted to a 12 hour week and so taking days off means i only get paid for that meany hours. where if im in work i do 12 hours per day so id be only getting 1/5th the money . its a strange situation
You're friggin' right it's a strange situation. I take it you work on commission?
nope, if i dont go in i only get paid for 2 and half hours work, i work in maintenance there is no commission thats why im looking for another job

I'd gladly do it. I work freelance so can take time off if I want to. Wanted to start doing some boxing writing again anyway.

Sorry to hijack the thread, Frank what time is the Molitor-Booth fight due to start? have sky brought it forward to fit in with the Klit-Peter fight?
Also how long does it normally take for the tickets to arrive? I ordered mine well over a week ago and they are still to arrive.
Any chance of a upgrade to ringside

If these guys who slam promoters were to spend a day in the office with Frank Warren or myself they would really see what goes on behind the scenes
Would you ever invite one of the posters who 'slam' yourself or another promoter down to the offices and see what’s what? (Providing they can be traced) so they could get a new perspective on what its like to be a promoter and they could then educate other posters with there experience
My answer would be - already spent too much time with you Frank!!!
Little Frank loves reminiscing on those halcyon days.

Maloney misses me!!!
He even had a cup of tea and some cake at my house in Aldershot once - thats how much he liked me!!!
We then went to watch 2 Para Battalions kick f*ck out of each other in the Army Boxing Final.
