hennessy is the one i don't trust in all this.
he just happens to pull out with a few weeks to go when the fight is on warren's promotion and u closely lost the purse bids.
what's the betting he turns up on a maloney co promotion the following month.

Havent lost respect for Barker. Never thought he was any more than British level in the first place. Boxing News might consider claifying when they actually interviewed him. It might help stop the stick he is getting.
Macklin should fight Duddy now, forget Barker.

I still have massive respect for Barker, why would he go into the ring against Macklin if he wasn't 100% fit? It seems the right decision to pull out.

I haven't "lost respect" for Barker... I think he's a genuine talent who could go a lot further.
I do have my doubts about the injury though. I just get a feeling that his team think he's not quite ready for Macklin yet and that he needs another couple of fights.
