I've already sent my best wishes to darren and his family when I heard the news. Hope he makes a full recovery and can live a normal life. Never had a bad word to say about Darren, would have been good to share a ring with him.

Sad news has got young kids also we did spar but was only light sparring he was telling me he wanted to be a trainer when he retires I hope he gets his wish

Very sad news - but boxers are made of stern stuff and as such Darren will win this fight - god bless him and his family.

I'm hearing this morning he will make a full recovery. Obviously I'm not close to him or the news but hopefully it's true. If so, brilliant and hope he's running about with the kids soon enough

Ditto ,seen Darren box 2 or 3 times and always gave a great performance. Get well soon Darren , shocked to hear such bad news.
