Is that for sure? Might the WBO make him fight the number #2 guy for the vacant belt? I guess beating Murat, who is ranked #3, would be suitable enough to give Clev the belt without winning it. I would still like to see Clev actually fight for the title though.

Gavin vs Woodhouse (Vac COMM LWW)

This would be a serious card. 4 London fights in big fights. 2 world title fights. Would top the Mag 7
That would be great maybe stick in Rhodes vs Koscenky and that would be top drawer

Brahmer vs Cleverly (WBO Light Heavyweight title) or Henry in a vacant title fight.

Kell Brook vs Mike Jones (Interim WBO Light Welter title).

Ricky Burns vs Sergei Guilvechich (WBO Super Feather title).

Ryan Rhodes vs Lukas Konecny (maybe Bundaridge)

James Degale vs George Groves.

Frankie Gavin vs Curtis Woodhouse

Ricky burns is fighting on the 4th in Scotland I read in boxing news. Rhodes won't be promoted by warren again. Get konecny in the bill again I happy to see him fight. Chisora v fury or someone else I think fury wil duck him!

it'll be business as usual unless this PPV did spectacular numbers - i.e 1 or 2 'top-drawer' fights and the rest filler or less than 8 rounders.

As for Fury ducking Chisora... IMO thats looking at it from the wrong direction... its all about trajectories... Chisora and Fury are both on the way up but Chisora doesnt need the Fury fight having just dusted his nearest rival, he could look at European title or bouts of that level for his next fight. In the same way that Big Larry in theory is next in line for Fury but it will not happen - IMO Fury will contest a vacant British within the next 6 months.

If FW is planning a show in December that is bigger and better than the one he put on tonight then I will be buying it no questions asked.

I have always been critical of the majority of his shows in the past but tonight was well worth the PPV money to watch. OK Brook-Jennings didnt end in a satisfactory manner and was hardly electrifying before the stoppage, but the action in all of the other televised fights was terrific.

Regardless of what level the fighters on the card eventually reach in there careers, it was just good to see such quality fights featuring domestic fighters.

A lot of credit to Dean Powell for that as well.

He wants to put on Degale against Groves on that show, according to the post-fight interview. Does anyone think Adam Booth will take the fight?

IMO its entirely possible the offer will be low-ball, trying more to get them to turn it down than anything else.

That's exactly it. None of his boxers are PPV attractions in their own right, but I have to say this style of show is much better VFM than hanging an entire PPV on one boxer's name.

Looks like Macklin will be on it for a world title and date is dec 11th at the Excel.

I really hope Macklin-Barker happens. Maybe it could be a world title eliminator.

Martinez-Williams 2 on 20 November so that rules out the WBC title.

Sylvester fights Mahir Oral on 30 October in Germany so it wont be an IBF challenge.

Sturm is fighting on 4 December though i very much doubt he'd come to Britain for a very dangerous fight with Macklin that's the WBA title. The WBA have Interim titles but also don't see him fight Golovkin in December. They also have Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam against Avtandil Khurtsidze in France on 30 October so no real move for maneuver with any of the silly WBA titles.

That leaves Pirog again i don't see that happening in December. There were rumours on Sturm-Pirog i'd be equally surprised but also happy if this fight happens. So i expect Pirog to have a routine defense in Russia late this year.

i find it impossible to predict what fights. also, i think they would save a ricky burns world title defense as the main event to a separate show. reckon if they can bring braehmer over, maybe that would be pretty expensive and perhaps not a great undercard.

is gully next for burns?
