KG usually says it as it is albeit in his own inimitable style.King Geedorah wrote:A fair few of us sniff one another's arses. One or two jibber jabber about until they get a reassuring whisper and a pat on the head. One or two are young pups and need to be bottle fed information and have extra long arse hair so you find yourself having to hand pick the poop out their anus. A minority are beyond training and pollute the place by dropping piss and poop everywhere. You get a couple who think every tap on the keyboard is for their benefit (just as dogs think that every visitor to the door is calling for them, bear with me on this). We also have a fair few boxer dogs on here, which is nice.
We also have Spud. Anyone seen Fly 2, they take the geezers dog and experiment on it until it is barely recognisable to the man who once owned it. This happened to Spud, he came into boxing looking like Errol Flynn and the sport has turned him into Mickey Flynn.
Spud. Greatest man in boxing. Ever.MachoMan09 wrote:Seconded.Lenny wrote:This happens to be the current home of the most famous boxing poster of all time so don't get ideas above your station.
If it ain't Spud it ain't nothing.

Indeed, Jon Pegg's knowledge is second to none. Especially in regards to the British scenejonp wrote:Experts come to me looking for expertise, questioners come to me for questions and The Law puts me in his articles.Think that just about sums it up.
Cheers fella. Must admit what I love most about Boxrec is that there are so many posters I enjoy reading and learning from. In terms of my own personal list it contains many of those you've referenced. If I was pushed, I'd say the guys I rate the most are Ian and Macho Man. I've found myself frequently having a difference of opinion with Autobarn in recent times but always respect what he has to say. Likewise, Bennie is an amazing font of historical knowledge and is always essential reading.jBacca wrote:There are too many posters who know their stuff - makes me feel like a novice.
Stujones, McNeilly, Bennie, Carbo, Carlos, CP, Macho, Deserter, Lennie, Terry Diddly, Crusader, are all just a few that I'll sit up and listen to.
F*ck off Deserter you journalist ****!!!Deserter wrote:Cheers fella. Must admit what I love most about Boxrec is that there are so many posters I enjoy reading and learning from. Carlos and Terry (King Gee) are simply legends with their own distinct characters that add huge 'flavour' to the forum, while Spud.. well, every forum should have one![]()
Of the boxers/ex-boxers who frequent the forum, I think Bomber is in a class of his own (despite a bizarre 'blind spot' where a certain promoter is concerned), and also really reading the inputs of Coco and Jeff Thomas.
I also have to reserve a special shout out to the original KG - Khaosai Galaxy - who has been 'AWOL' in recent times, but who has the most wicked, barbed sense of humour I've ever encountered on forums and who has regularly reduced me to tears of laughter with his posts in the past. Still, to this day, have no idea of who he really is!
