brook was still outboxing him in the 3rd and 4th and not breaking a sweat, then in the 5th he unleashed a huge combination and looked like jennings didnt wanna be there. then the fight got stopped, how was that anybody's fight?

jennings won the 3 and 4 round imo and he was cut badly with the forearm which enabled brook to throw a combination so yes i think it was anybodys fight

Maybe it is unfair comparison but Jennings can not do anything against Cotto but against Brook he had something going.

i hope they get him an aggressive opponent next, because his fights are getting awfully boring and we're not seeing the best of his ability.

yes from what i have seen of him he looks better counter-punching, he has great reactions and good timing to go along with his power.

He seems to have been about forever, we keep hearing about how awesome he is, but I don't think anyone outside of Sheffield is having quite the same feelings.

I personally think he needs letting of the leash a bit more, so we can see what he is really made of.

he'd destroy Matthew Hatton. Jennings would beat Hatton readily too.

Despite the belt Hatton is a step down from Jennings quality wise.
I think i disagree with that Hatton has taken a long journey to get where he is today, Jennings may beat him but i think it would be a very close one. Kel Brook has massive talent but needs to get some ringtime against quality opponents. Jennings was the right guy for the job and unlucky to get cut. Well it was lucky for me coz i had money on brook to win in the distance lol.

Well he'll have plenty of choice, here is what i could fathom out about who's champ at the mo!

IBF- Jan Zaveck,
WBA interim- Souleymane M'baye
WBA- Viacheslav Senchenko
WBA Super World- Shane Mosley
WBC- Andre Berto
WBO- Manny Pacquiao
IBO- Lovemore N'dou

But saying that , i just realised that Kell did beat the last WBU champ Michael Jennings!!
And we still have the Global Boxing Council champion Ashley Theophane

didnt mosley lose the belt when he got beat by mayweather and if he never why wasnt it on the line then? id put brook in with any of them now apart from mosley berto and pacquiao but the rest i think he would be too strong for them

N'Dou is a very good next fight isn't it? If he really is to measure his talent?

Yeah, Mosley isn't a world champion now.

Senchenko is the WBA champion, although Mbaye holds some belt with the WBA (interim I think).

Mbaye had big connections with Warren.

I think a fight with Matt Hatton before a world title shot should be fought about.

Well, for a start, the Hattons would have to work with Al. Seeing as he was most vehement in that Ricky should be banned from the sport, I can't see that happening

dont think mathew would beat senchenko and for brook he will be fighting for the vacant WBO title when pac vacates it against some one ranked in the lower half of the top 10.

Depends on the opponent. Is he "ready" for the best in the world? Is he fornicate. But for sure, I'm sure a World title fight could be made, most likely for WBO and against a sort of second tier world title level opponent.
