This is a free country. If the athletes want to go to India our government can't stop them. It is the athlete's choice if he/she goes or not.
So far three days of the first cricket Test in Mohali have gone by without incident.

All the stadiums are empty. You'd think with a hundred gazillion people they'd be full wouldn't ya?. They must all be stuck in traffic jams

It was great. Gave me a chance to consume 1 doz bottles of red, while I waited for laundry on clothes-line to get dry

However, sleeping naked on mattress protector covered by doona without its cover...not to mention overall OMO smell is something I don't wanna experience again

They're giving tickets away to schoolkids
The Indians can afford tickets to the cricket that's for sure. Maybe these games should have been called the Commonwealth Cricket Games
p.s don't expect any world records in the athletics. A little while go they were re-laying part of the track
