with foster being naturally aggressive, i think this makes it an exciting fight, though it makes it harder for a lot of ppl to see him winning.

What's Kirakosyan's old stamina like. If I remember, didn't he conk out against Gomez after a bright start?

not seen much of him after 4 or 5 rds.

stamina did let him down vs gomez. but did he have good notice for the gomez fight, was there something wrong with kirakosyan that night? i can't remember.

Yes but he took that fight at late notice. He still managed to rock Gomez pretty badly before retiring on his stool if my memory serves me right. He has stated himself that because of the late notice, he only had enough in the tank for six rounds. I'd love for Foster to pull this off. Kirakosyan has shown he can be outboxed by loosing virtually every round versus Guliakevich. Not sure if Foster is the man to do it but I think he can definitely pose a few problems for Kirakosyan.

At 36 his stamina HAS to be a doubt, he is a master of the early rounds KO, I reckon the first truly good boxer/mover he fights will take a points win over him or even stop him late on.

If Foster sticks to boxing he can win if he trades he loses.

but definitely, that arthur fight was quite a long time ago.

maybe the timing is right to beat kirakosyan. he can look ordinary vs a mover. and he can look ordinary IF you can back him up.

only certainty - there could be some exciting exchanges.

5/2 sounds good- although actually, I was thinking, I'd be better off (ie, stand to win more) putting a straight £6 on the 5/6 than say £3 each on the 5/2s.

Yeah, I have a feeling it will be a good fight, but to be honest, I can see Foster being stopped- possibly not a striaght knockout, but certainly a stoppage.

if Foster doesnt get too involved early on, I can see him going on and winning the fight. Kirakosyan is quite old and they say he's tight at the weight, you have to remember that Foster Jr can punch as well and 5/2 for him to win and 10/1 with a stoppage looks two good prices.

Foster Jr v Kirakosyan

2 cracking posts by Pulio and Greenhoff pretty much sum it up for me.

Going for the home run here but will cover accordingly an play the books to cover myself.

When I first saw this announced Ithought Kirakosyan KO bbut now I think Im leving that as I dont see it as a value punt considering a couple of circumstances.

I think the win over Lawton flattered him a touch and the books have over reacted. There is no doubt the guy can be a beast early doors.

The question here for me though is whether Foster can weather the early storm. There is encourage ment to show hw can though. He took an arguably peak Matthews the distance annd gave Arthur hell.

I konw nothing of the Russians amateur pedigree but from his early pedigree but it seems he learnt on the job. Its standard that he will come out and try and plant to land bombs imo.

If Foster can survive the early rounds, the later it goes I think he has a chance. Foster doesnt really seem to deserve this chancebut word is good from the camp and he looks in good shape and maybe something has been spotted.

Kiroksyan is now 36 and you have to wonder if he doesnt get Foster put eearly and the biy is still punching back halfway then maybe enthusiasm will slowly drain, after all he has only gone past 6 in the last 5 yrs when outboxed to a UD.
